Do you think the post office is getting a bit "outdated" now? I know there are still plenty of things that we need mailed, but o think that the post office is getting lazy now.

I came home today to find that a baseball magazine had been delivered. The cover had a little headline of Bryce Harper winning the rookie of the year which I thought was weird, but when I opened the magazine, the feature article was a review of the 2013 baseball season, from last March.

Things like this happen all the time,
Frodlex : knows all too well of the post offices screw ups as they had misplaced the PS3 I had sent him. Well, I just noticed you can spell screw ups without ups. What are your thoughts?

Wait, I am confused. Are you complaining about the Post office, or the people mailing stuff?

But to stay on topic, I think the Post Office will never be outdated. We will always need our mail, and some people don't have a mailbox or a home address or something for one reason or another, so they need a P . O . Box. Also, some companies use a P. O . Box, so the Post Office will never be " outdated " .

It may be outdated, mismanaged and unprofitable but there are still many people out there that are so wary of the Internet or nearly illiterate of it that they'll never make the switch.

I think the post office is gonna be around for a long while.

I'll make my point simple, Who cares.....

Heck, I find this just an attempt to gain more possible chances to post for this whole "Tour De Vizzed" event, considering how useless this thread is.

I now allow you to retort another irrelevant case

Meh, not to me. I still use the post office on rare occasions where I need to mail some type of paper or document. Most of the time, I send mail electronically.

It may get outdated eventually but who knows. I haven't had such a great experience with the post officer around here i think they have gotten somewhat lazy over the years.

Funny enough, one of my teachers from a few years was talking about a similar topic like this during my class. I do agree that  post offices will be outdated someday especially not many people (or at least from what I've seen) use the post office as much as they used to. I can picture that the post office will be replaced by some sort of electronic version of a post office instead of the actual physical system. I won't be surprised if it gets outdated and replace somehow.

I fail to see how the post office is lazy, They have to deliver and receive probably millions of letters and parcels a day.

So yes it wouldn't surprise me if a few packages went missing...Also it wouldn't surprise me if half the missing packages were never sent by the original user... or they were received but the recipient denies it..

If you feel so strongly about the post office don't use it... the solution is simple.

port753 : Welcome to the tour de vizzed month... it's better to just reply honestly.. And hope you aren't summoned to the same thread 15 times.
