The playoffs will be ran just like they are being ran in the Playoff Test 2 Thread. 
Everybody will be invited back next season, however, there will be an entry fee next year.

The regular season has officially come to a close, and that means it is playoff times. Seasons will be shattered, and seasons will be made. People will be infuriated at their inevitable loss, except for that one person who wins it all. 

Before we get into normal weekly routine, there are a few things that I must tell you, and / or reveal to you. 

The SET SURPRISE CATEGORY was never a random game. It was always the least correctly picked game. And, since we always had 1 or 2 people that liked to go against everybody else's picks, there was never a time, as far as I remember, this season where there was not at least 1 winner of the SET SURPRISE CATEGORY 
The  SURPRISE GAME was usually picked by MattyIce. He would decide what he thought would be the best game of the week, or the most important game of the week, and that would be that game.

A few notes for next week's match-ups: 
~ The 1 seed from both conferences will play the lowest remaining seed after this week's match-ups. 
~ The 2 seed from both conferences will play the highest remaining seed after this week's match-ups. 
~ There will be consolation match-ups. 
~ The lowest seed to lose from the North this week will play the lowest seed from the South to lose for 11th place next week. The loser will get 12th. 
~ The highest seed to lose form the North this week will play the highest seed from the South to lose for 9th place next week. The loser will get 10th. 

And now for the rules of the playoffs, along with the tie - breaker procedures: 
The best record in the head to head match up will win, and move on to the next round. If the records are the same, then it goes to Tie-Breaker 1.
Each match-up will be given a game to predict the score of, in case a tie breaker is needed. Here is how the tie breakers are going to work:
1. If the record is the same, then it will go the game given to each match-up to predict in the case of a tie breaker. If both players correctly guessed or incorrectly guessed the winner of the tie breaker game, then it goes to Tie-Breaker 2.
2. The player that correctly guessed the winning score moves on. If both players correctly guessed the winning score, or incorrectly guessed the winning score, then it moves on to Tie-Breaker 3.
3. The player that has the least margin of difference in the prediction of the actual winning team's score will move on. If both players have the same differential, then it moves on to Tie-Breaker 4.
4. The player that correctly guessed the losing score will move on. If both players correctly guessed the losing score, or incorrectly guessed the losing score, then it moves on to Tie-Breaker 5.
5. The player that has the least margin of difference in the prediction of the actual losing team's score will move on. If both players have the same differential, then it moves on to Tie-Breaker 6.
6. A simple coin flip. The higher seed of the two would call it. If they are correct, they move on. If they wrong, they lose. Let's hope it never comes to this final tie breaker.
