My first video game was Goldeneye 64 for the N64 and possibly DOOM 64, I think I was about 3 when I was playing them. My cousin or my relatives mostly play them, I just try and copy them XD. To this day I still haven't beat them, maybe I should try and beat them soon enough.

My first game (this will make me sound old to most Vizzed users) was either Super Mario Bros., or The Legend of Zelda, I believe. Also close was Gauntlet.

As for the why: It was what my family owned, so it's what I played. I loved both of them, as did my siblings, and I played it all the time. Still, I only started playing them because my parents got them.

Dude this is a really hard question, I have a fair idea though. So there was Another world, I also remember playing Raiden with my brother when we were quite young, and there is Resident evil.

All these at a very young age because my dad's crazy. and a computer wizz..
And I have to go now.. So sleepy.

I can't remember the first game i ever played, but i think it was either Super Mario Sunshine and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom. Of course, they were both kids games which is why i played those games first. I can't remember beating these games either; it took me until i was 10.

Ever? It might've been Super Mario Bros. on NES. I also remember trying Kung-Fu on NES around the same time, so it was probably one of those two.

My first game was Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Genesis! My mom had an old Sega, so I played it when I was 3. It was so much fun! Unfortunately, I could never beat the 2nd level (you know the one... ) That's why it was the first game I reviewed, too!

You know... I'm actually not sure what my first video game was.  I want to say it was an Amiga game, but it might have been SNES..... whichever came out first I guess.  I know the first game that I got addicted to playing was Lemmings, though.    (The Amiga version, of course)

The first game I ever played was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. I always watched my uncle play it and I asked if I could play it when he was done. I was huge on adventures, and when I saw I could immerse myself into a game and have something closer to a real adventure, I got excited. I loved watching my uncle play everyday and I loved it even more when I finally got to play. I didnt beat it till years later since I was only 4 at the time, but it kick started my love for video games

DeathKid3 : I played Wizard 101 when my daughter had to be in the hospital for a month. Its pretty fun with all the bright spells and many locations, she liked to watch from her bed. I was from the school of life.

My FIRST game was Space Invaders, at a little convenience store, a long time ago. And why, because I'm old.

The first video game I've ever played, huh? That's a tough question, but if I remember correctly, it'd have to be Pokémon: Ruby and Sapphire. I think I was around 3 at the time, memories kind of fuzzy, heheh. ^-^;;

My first game was Age of Empires, but whether you are counting that as a video game or not I don't know. I'll say it was Mario Golden Coins II on the GameBoy.

Off memory, the first video game I played was Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis, when I was 4... We happened to have one at the time, but sold it after.
The earliest game I actually owned was Megaman Zero when I was 8. I love that series, especially the Zero games

Thomas the Tank Engine Railway Adventures for the PC. It was basically you controlling Thomas and co to do various tasks you see on TV. It came with a control console you put over your keyboard http://ttte.wikia.com/wiki/Railway_Adventures_(PC_game)

The wiki explains it better. I had when I was 2.

The first video game I ever played was probably also the first I ever owned; twas Pokémon-Fire red and of course my first Pokémon was the one that evolved into the one in the cover, Charizard. It's quite nostalgic to think back to the days when I spent countless hours upon hours on that little device, playing and leveling my Pokémon until they were finally ready for the Pokémon league. I also completed the whole list of Pokémon for that game, granted the last one was a cheat since it's impossible to get Mew otherwise xD. It was also tough for me to get the Machamp, Gengar and I don't remember the others that needed to have a link cable and a friend to trade with since I never had a link cable and my friends almost never brought it to the school I studied in. Still though, it was one heck of a ride I must say; from that game to what has become of me today.
