You are a storm chaser? That is a seriously awesome job, Im actually pretty jealous. Im sure you had to go through a lot of school and have had to take many different types of science in school in order to get that job though, so Ill never be a storm chaser. Congrats on landing an interesting job.

Wow, I never even considered volunteering to be a storm chaser... Do you chase tornadoes or just follow cells in order to determine where severe weather like hail and lightning will strike?

What kind of schooling did those working for NOAA have to take?

Also, where are you located, cuz storms in the usa are often much more severe than those here in canada.

Writing articles seems like an alright job, but Id hate the research part lol.

I like to keep them separate.
My Vizzed life is a lot different then my actual life. I actually have a few friends here and people that care about me.
In my real life, I really just sit around and text people about stuff.
I like my Vizzed life better.

I'm a totally different person online than I am in real life, so I have to say separate.
On the internet, I'm chatting, I make friends easily, I'm nice to have around.
In real life, I hardly talk, I don't have many friends and get bullied alot

This is an interesting question for me to consider. I think I used to keep them fairly separate. I didn't spend a lot of time online, I wasn't a part of an 'online community' and didn't even know what one was.... and I never really talked about what I did on the internet when talking with people around me.  However, as I've grown with vizzed, that has changed.  I spend a lot of my time on the internet now... most of it on vizzed.  Whereas I used to keep the "real me" a secret from people on the web.... I know talk freely about who I am and what I do while I'm here.  I don't think there's a soul on vizzed who doesn't know what I do for a living or what my passions are.  I also talk about vizzed freely (to some extent) to those people around me.

I guess the only difference between me here, and me in real life... is that I probably don't come off as 'shy' while I'm here. In real life, I hardly talk to anybody aside from my family and husband. I'm awkward and unsure of myself, and I have trouble even looking people in the eye.  I don't go places with people, don't talk to people on the phone.... etc.  So vizzed really gets to know the 'inner' me.

When it comes to information of my real life on the internet, there are a few things I keep hidden, but besides some of that, it's pretty jointed together.

My internet life and my real life tend to mix together, but I still separate them every now and then. In real life, I spend most of my time on my computer having my internet life. I am not as shy on my internet life then I am in real life. I tend to find more joy and entertainment in my internet life than my real life.

However, in real life away from the internet, I am very quiet and have trouble communicating with those I am not close to. I just do chores, school work, and hang out with friends. Sometimes though, when I am with friends, I tend to talk about my internet life, especially Vizzed. I like to talk about the events that happen and the strange conversations that happen in chat to them, and they find it entertaining, humorous, and sometimes strange.

Simply put, my internet life and real life is sometimes together and sometimes separate. I really don't mind if they mingle with each other, and I like sharing my internet life to close friends in real life.

Ehh, the internet's a big part of my life, but my real life, I'm a burnout tbh, we're all nerdy stoners but "alright" with the cool guys of the neighborhood (the cool nerds I guess)

At first, I didn't get this post and did't answer.
Finally thinking about it...I keep them Separate cuz I act a more different and more active online than real life...

I feel like I keep them pretty integrated and yet also separated in some ways. I have a lot of y'all added on my Facebook as well as other internet people I've met along the way, but I don't communicate with them all too much.

I have three different lives. There's my online life, my family life, and my social life. I always keep the three completely separate whenever possible, though how much of each I have tends to fluctuate.

I try to keep them apart. I wouldn't want an online enemy to harass me in real life, or for someone in real life to harass me online.

As for the way I act, I try to act the same way online that I do in real life.

I'm always doing something, whether it's having fun, or helping out. A "work hard, play hard" attitude is the best way to describe it.

I keep most of my real life separate from vizzed. I am very mysterious about some things and I keep a lot to myself, but friends I have come close to in my life who are here on vizzed I have opened up to about different parts of my life. I guess it just depends on who and when I talk to that person whether I open up to them or not is a different story.

Real life? What's that? XD


But honestly, not really. I spend a lot of time on the Internet, so the Internet is almost my real life.

There's someone on a key board controlling what I post, what I do here, ect, but it's two different lives; I don't like mixing them.

Why would I? I have before, and things got weird. Very weird.

I hide behind a screen to try to prevent myself from finding out who I am, I wander the digital streets using 1 of 2 names: ddjj701 and the turquoise. I try not to bring my real life onto the Internet because who needs to know my real name? Where I live? Or anything else. I am not who I am in real life when I'm on the Internet, I'm a better person here. and when they do combine bad things happen.

Let's see... in real life, I live outside the city limits of a town that celebrates racism and tries to block males from holding jobs because they still cling stubbornly to the belief that men should be working in the fields that no longer exist or going to get work in the larger nearby cities.  Gaming is officially tolerated as a preoccupation of the young, overindulged generation that they should grow out of when they mature.

Online, I'm surrounded by people who couldn't tell if this guy on the forum is called DuckBilledPlaytpus because he really is one, and if they did figure it out they'd mostly be impressed and wanting to know how he manages.  If he's actually female, that'd go practically unnoticed.  And, of course, nobody even talks about things like work because the gaming is clearly more site-relevant and important.

No, I don't think I mingle the two.
