I'll be voting for either Zelda for the instant recognizability, and the fact the secrets would make the build way intricate, or Goldeneye, just because that is my favourite game ever. For the Goldeneye map, I'll say Facility, my favourite multiplayer map on my favourite game.

I'm pretty sure someone has already done Hyrule Castle and made it available. I'm not sure about Blood Gulch.

After doing some research, I just realized that we could greatly speed up the process of doing a Pokemon Blue/Red World using 'Minecraft Structure Planner' and 'MCEdit'.

Basically what I would do is, generate the layout of the world using those 2 programs and we'd build up the world based on that guide that I generated. It'd just be a guide to help us know where to place everything and if it can help us speed up the process (which I think it will), then we can begin working on this project sooner.

Also, I was thinking we could base some things off of the Fire Red and Leaf Green versions. The map layout would be based on the Blue and Red version as seen here:

But we could use the map from Fire Red and Leaf Green as a reference:

And what I mean by that is the Fire Red and Leaf Green versions have more detail and color for a lot of the objects so it would make figuring out which minecraft object to use easier. We could possibly base it completely off of Fire Red and Leaf Green or somehow base it off of both but I don't want to base it so much off of Fire Red and Leaf Green that we wouldn't be able to call it Pokemon Blue and Red anymore.

Davideo7 : I like these ideas. I can't wait to start so the sooner everything gets planned out, the sooner we can start.

I've invested 40+ hours into this Pokemon map so far, getting it ready for others to help me out. I'm also putting together a texture pack for it. I'll post a picture of the world map later but for now, here's a picture showing off Pallet Town and the textures so far.

That looks good so far. Good job, David. Hopefully I can help in the near future with that project, considering I'm working on other projects at the moment. It looks like a cool experience though so who knows

Davideo7 : I would much rather prefer to play Pokemon X there instead of with the 3DS graphics, it looks amazing!

The interior and the exterior, just wow. I know I already posted and give the feedbacks about the exterior so I was interested in the interior. I have to say I'm impressed, David. Good job there.

Laian : Thanks, I'll probably put together a video of some sort showing off everything I have finished at that point and call it a Teaser Trailer and submit it to YouTube and see how much interest it could generate.

Currently Pallet Town is finished, (and only the interior of "Red's" house is finished), Route 1 is finished, and Route 21 is finished. Viridian City and Route 2 should be finished within the next day or 2. After that, I'll put more focus on getting everything ready for others to help me out, most of the help will go toward doing the interior and creating the NPC characters. I may decide to do the entire world map alone and I definitely plan to do the entire texture pack alone.
