Hello guys! Green is here with another zelda thread! As we all know, they are 5 temples in Ocarina of Time. First being Forest Temple, second being Fire Temple (I'm in it now). third being Water Temple, fourth being Shadow temple and fifth being Spirit Temple. What do you think is your favorite? Me it's the Forest Temple because there's Saria ^^! The hardest Temple? Well I haven't complete all temples yet, only 1 so far. The hardest is Forest Temple. The reason I'm saying because I'm in the Fire Temple right now and the beginning is much more easier. Easiest Temple? So far I have to say it's the Fire Temple because I'm well processing on it. What about you guys ? I'm not talking about the temples in Spirit Tracks, it's about Ocarina of Time.

My favorite temple of all time from OOT had to be the Shadow Temple. I love creepy places in general for one so i'm just stuck being a weirdo. But that's not the main point behind it all. For its time it was intimidating and kinda hard to go through. The hidden walls and such were cool to come across with the Eye of Truth. It was also nice to have figured out about that well in Kakariko Village. Both of these coming together made it an awesome area to venture through with a pretty interesting boss to face.

And my second place for favorites is the Water Temple! (OH MY GOD I'M SUCH A HERETIC!). No but seriously, I loved the water temple as well. It was a place of good danger and puzzles on working the water level out to the right floors to get things sorted out and moved. The boss was really fun and putting those iron boots to use was also fun. I simply enjoyed just watching Link go from the top of the water and sink to the bottom when putting the boots on.

Hardest temple to me at least was the Spirit Temple. Mostly for a couple enemies there that were out to get you. I'm not really sure i'd include the puzzles in on that because I don't think they were that hard but more of a simple annoyance since the Mirror Shield was he gimmick to the temple. So just aiming the shield at times was just a pain and lining it up with whatever.

My favorite temple is the forest temple.

Why?

Because at the point in the game in which you reach it, it is the most difficult, what with stalfos able to deal 2 hears of damage per sucessful jump attack. and with you only having about 7 hearts in the game at this point.

I love how good an example it is of a well balanced dungeon containing keys placed in strategic areas, and enemies that will cause you a decent amount of trouble.

Although the poe sisters aren't done that well, The Stalfos are, and they are very fun to fight. I love straight out sword fights like these, and I wish that there were more enemies like this.

The settings of the dungeon are mysterious, an ancient castle, using the same symbol and rotating hallways of the kingdom of Ikana from Majora's mask, My favorite fan theory about the game- I'll make another thread about that later though. I love the mist, and the music, it is actually a map that I'd like to play on in a medieval warfare game. But the music- and those candles, that is what I really love. so mysterious, one begins to wander about what backstories the four poe sisters may have, how they got here, and why they appear again in Majora's Mask!

The boss fight is one of the funnest outside of the final battle, always keeping you on edge, and watching that magic ball.

Those pictures in the boss room, where are they depicting? are they portals to a dark and dreary place some how? why are they all the same? did Gannondorf make it this way? Or was it an original feature?

So many mysteries, so many secrets.

This is why we love Zelda, this is why I love the game!

May Nintendo continue to make great dungeons like this filled with mystery and danger.

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .
