So guys my dog is whining at the bottom of the stairs AND HE WONT SHUT UP! He is very heavy and I want to get my mom but I cant talk to her, she is at oasis and I NEED to do my school work but Louie wont SHUT THE GAMER'S MOUSE UP. He fights me if I try to pick him up (I am saying that he doesn't cooperate with me) can someone give me advice.

RMJEtheReploid : Since he's at the bottom of the stairs and whining, I assume he wants to be upstairs with you? Is he afraid of going up and downstairs? You could always distract him with one of his favorite toys to keep him busy or at least try and do your homework downstairs with him so he isn't alone. If he isn't afraid of stairs you could always attach a leash to him and guide him upstairs.

That's all I honestly have for advice for the most part. May not be the most helpful but at least I tried. Hopefully something works for you!

zerothesaint : lol that is VERY  good advice but Louie loves his crate and his crate isn't portable. He also likes to sleep. He isn't a active dog. In fact the only time he moves is when he wants his food and water

RMJEtheReploid : Well as long as you find the advice good then i'm content with that! XD And Louie sounds like an old dog my friend used to have. He was a big ol' brown blood hound named Hunter. Lots of times he was lazy but he was a pretty smart dog. And realistically I think all dogs and cats or pretty much any animal loves their sleep. Heck I love my 8+ hours of sleep when I can get it!

I suppose one way you could go about things is do a portion of your homework and just try to tune him out and bit and then go spend a little time with him or something then come back and finish it. Maybe that might do something for ya.
