In 2014, both the United States and Europe will be getting 3 games from Japan Studio. The first will be Soul Sacrifice Delta, followed by Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, and lastly, Freedom Wars.
Synapses:
Soul Sacrifice Delta - Soul Sacrifice with more monsters, spells, and improved play-ability.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines - The second game in a series of Japanese RPGs, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines once again tells the tale of cursed generations of a warrior family determined to raise and train their descendants to become the heroes who will break the curse.
Freedom Wars - Freedom Wars takes place on Earth, in the year 102013. The world surface lies in ruins and is no longer capable of supporting life. As such, humans live in underground cities called "Panopticons", where they struggle to research how to be able to live on the surface once more. Overpopulation has become such an issue that the Panopticons have implenented a drastic measure: anyone arrested for any crime is found guilty, regardless of whether or not they actually are; and forced to battle giant monsters called "Abductors" as punishment. Defeating the Abductors, which are known to capture civilians, reduces the Criminals' sentences, which start at 1,000,000 years.
Seems like we are getting a nice little wave here. I'm probably going to hold off on Soul Sacrifice Delta, seeing as I already have the original. I'll probably also hold off on Freedom Wars, despite its cool [vine] mechanics. Primarily because I already have a bunch of hunting games. Oreshika seems more intriguing to me than the other two, and I'll certainly be picking that up at some point. Think you will be getting any of the aforementioned games?
