Do you know what classes you will be taking next year? Are there any electives that you have registered for it mandatory classes you have yet to take? I am registered for 5 classes next semester, 1 of which is online. Some of these classes include English, Theology, and Physical Geology.

Our school is being really weird this year.  The administration at the board of education decided they wanted to revamp all electives and let students pick and choose what would be on the course selection roster.  I'm not so sure I believe that a poll was ever taken, but the list was predominantly fashion and tourist based.  Tourism?  Just seems like a mighty strange class to offer to high schoolers in Alabama.

Part of the list also included accounting, which I doubt most of our students would vote for.

Thus, I don't know that any of our kids truly know what their schedules are going to look like.  For half of the classes I saw, I just found myself wondering where in the world they would even find knowledgeable, certified teachers.  (Storyboarding was another one on the list)

Aside from that, it is weird that they wouldn't really have a feel for what they would be taking.

Well, I am not exactly positive right now, but I know that I will be taking AP US history, after taking AP world history this year. I will also be taking band, and 2 other electives. Which one of those I know will be German, my least favorite class. I have not finished my language courses needed to pass high school, which I need another year of, I Had a really weird schedule. I won't be looking foward to a good amount of them, and i hope that I will have a simpler time in science then I did this year, and am still worried about the final exam and the End of Course Test.

For now, I only know a couple of my classes, some which I am looking forward too, and some that I am not. Wish me luck!

I know exactly what my next year classes are going to be. The large majority of them, I will hate, and I will hate myself for taking them, but ultimately, they will save me in the long run. I am going to be taking AP Chemistry, Honors Problems of Democracy, AP Calculus, Academic English (I don't want mental suicide, so I opted out of AP), Video Game Design (Woo, something good, unfortunately, it only lasts for half the year), Forensic Science, Creative Writing 1 and 2. Well, I think that's everything. It's kind of a boring schedule, but I guess some of it will be fun. I am going to very seriously regret the AP classes though, ugh.
