This being my first mafia game, I honestly don't know what to vote... I am absolutely horrible with decisions, So I feel until I have a better understanding of what is going on, I'll still go with No-Kill
By the way... what in the world does FoS mean?

It means Finger of Suspicion. Whoever does this suspects you of being mafia or possibly a role with no alignment.

I'll just go with the bandwagon and vote No-Kill.

Leggy stood around waiting for people to speak.

Very few spoke.

"OK then, so the results are... with 4 votes for no-kill... and 1 vote for yoshirulez!..."

Everyone waited with bated breath.

"The death of yoshirulez!"

The crowd stood stunned.

"Just kidding. It's a no-kill."

And with that, Leggy walked away, leaving the group to their own devices for yet another night.

Upon returning to his room, Leggy prayed to his god (himself) that there would be death tonight, and that the deaths would be brutal.

Suddenly, night fell, and that left everyone wondering what awaited them when they woke up. IF they woke up.

I still think no kill was a mistake.

I'll say I think no-kill was probably a mistake. However, yoshirulez just stating the obvious that there's no information doesn't exactly make him suspicious in any way. I get that we'd have to pick someone for something to justify lynching so we don't end up getting our asses handed to us, but he was just saying what we were all thinking. That there's no info and nothing to do about it. Especially since it's his first game, it's easy to assume that we should just wait since we don't want to risk killing any townies. His post was before Sox spelling everything out, even.

I dunno how much we're supposed to speak, if at all, in the thread during the night phase (I haven't played in a million years), but I'll finish my thoughts on this during the next day phase if I'm able.

You can speak in the thread at night if you wish. You just cannot do the following

- Dead Speak (No offenders yet thankfully, aside from pacman who just said WHAT)
- Accuse/Vote for players (Obviously, this isn't done)
- Break the rules of Innocent Town and Vizzed.

Otherwise, generally, I am cool with whatever you have to say at night.

You say that we have so little to go off of, but if we keep voting no-kill like the Mafia wants, by the time that we do have a lead, it'll be too late. It's bad enough we wasted a day, but we can't afford to continue to vote no kill.

KG : yoshi didn't say anything about there not being enough info on the post I was talking about. I was talking about the post where he said no kill was a good idea. It's never a good idea beyond the first day. Even then, I still don't like it.

Surgiac : Leggy just said no accusations during the night round, and although it isn't formal, it is completely ridiculous and probably still counts. I myself have suspicions as well but they can be discussed in the day phase, as the rules seem to state. You were just bloodlustin' on yoshirulez and I was pointing out that I felt it was kind of unfounded despite the need to take action to avoid being killed off by Mafia. That's all.

If that makes me suspicious, then that's depressing for the town.

I found someone else more suspicious but didn't get a chance to express it before the night round set in, so I'll kindly keep my fos's/accusations to myself until the day round.

megamanmaniac : The accusations at night thing also applies to you.

I didn't think a FoS was an accusation. I thought those were when you actually voted because you were stating why you voted for that person a.k.a. 'accusing'  them. A FoS is merely saying you find that person suspicious. You aren't accusing them of anything... yet.

I don't know if fos's count as accusations or not, but they're a bad idea at night either way. Let's not help the mafia choose who not to kill tonight.

Rule Clarification

The long, and torturous night was met with some people asking, "When will it end?"

The answer is today.

Today is the day the waiting is finally over. The day where someone would finally die by Mafia hands.

The Doctor was vanquished, and just like that, the town's best defense against senseless murder was now missing, and irreplaceable.

As the night wore on, everyone knew that the odds were against there being a second doctor. These were the thoughts of one soxfan849 as well. Unfortunately for him, these were his last thoughts, as the mafia struck down this innocent bystander as he pondered the point of this game.

He would be missed however in the morning, as when the players convened for the first time following his death, one KG was seen in tears, absolutely distraught her best friend was dead. Not so distraught was Leggy, who was clearly very happy that someone, anyone, had died in the night.

He made it a point to celebrate soxfan849's death.

"He died as he lived. Poorly." he said in soxfan849's eulogy.

These words were all he would offer as he quickly scooted them into a small room, and told them to decide on who would die today. The door was locked too, and there were no windows. They were not leaving this room without at least attempting to discuss the events of last night.

It may be too soon after soxfan849's death to force people to face reality, but such is Leggy, and such is Innocent Town. An old Innocent Town saying was on the wall in bright purple lettering.

What Would Leggy Do?

This narcissistic message to the players was never more important.

It is now a day round. Because of the weird update time, you have about 52 hours to discuss. The Day Round ends on 3/15/2014 at 12:00 midnight (leading into 3/16/2014).

My FoS's stand for now, but my guess is that Mafia killed so fan because of his analysis he gave earlier. Idk if that helps much, but it's something to think about.

I think killing soxfan849 was a poor move on the mafia's part.  soxfan's analysis could have been milked to do damage to the town during the day round.  Now the mafia appears scared, instead of strong.  While it's true that soxfan could have done damage to the mafia in the long run, killing him off so early means that they were afraid of him, not ready for him.  It's quite likely their next vote to kill will cause them damage, and even reveal one of their members.

You push so hard to kill.  We do need a kill, and in fact, I was the only one who voted to kill during the last day round, but I do continue to insist that we have little to go on.  I do agree that we need to ditch the no-kill policy.  But we also need further analysis.  That is how all mafia games should be played.  A slip here, a slip there, and a mafia member might be exposed.

Also, you have a lot of sway because you back up your opinions with evidence, albeit sometimes flawed evidence.  The FoS against me makes you look desperate, since it contradicts the evidence showing that I was the only one who voted for a kill last day round.  This would be very helpful if you were mafia.  That's why my vote is for megamanmaniac, unless you can convince me otherwise.

A few other people who have stood out (or haven't) are mrfe (for not showing up ), Patar4097 (for a brief comment with little to back it up), and alexanyways (for no comments after the first round).

mrfe in particular would be deadly in the position of assassin or mafia.  Few people would suspect him, since he was on the trip to Haiti for a while.

An FoS can bring about valuable discussion & she seemed so adamant about stopping that discussion at night. It makes me believe she's trying to hide something.

So, let me get this straight. You're voting me because, after not playing this game in like a year or better, and after Leggy had just explained the rules, I spoke up about thinking that FoSing is against the rules? How is that even suspicious? Hey guys, better kill me, I didn't want to break rules on the game. Seems like sound reasoning. It also makes you look like you're reaching at literally nothing to try to get me lynched, so that's cute.

Secondly, I didn't think the Mafia would need any help deciding who not to kill. If they think we're going to lynch someone who may or may not be mafia, they would just lynch someone else instead who seem to be power players or getting stuff done. Why should we do their job for them when they're about to kill someone anyway? It just seemed wiser to shut up until the day round and then try to get to the bottom of things. Again, does that *really* make me suspicious?

You thought I was sketchy for defending yoshi... why would I do that if I were mafia? What logical reason would there be for doing that, besides being a townie and trying to keep a townie from being killed? If I was a mafia, I would have just agreed to get him lynched, because why would I care? As far as I'm concerned, he's probably either innocent or the fool, so either way it'd be better to not kill him needlessly. He hasn't done anything that suspicious yet to make me feel otherwise, so I said something about it.

However, you FoS'd EideticMemory first in an obvious attempt to just make stuff up, even going so far as to say "You haven't really done anything, I'm just watching you." Yeah, because that's reasonable. Then you get on yoshi.

It's a shame that any FoSing I could do on you would just get cried about that I'm just doing it out of vengeance, but you're seriously hazardous for the town and it's a shame. So despite what people might say that I'm just doing it as revenge, I'm going to FoS you, because you're either mafia, or you have good intentions and are just being really terrible about it.

Anyway, unless he has anything more to say about it, my vote is probably going to be for A user of this. After Sox wrote up a sheet of why we should be voting and it was being discussed how bad of an idea it would be for town to no kill, he openly bandwagon'd on no kill just for the hell of it. Unfortunately there wasn't more time til the night round to call him out them or to get more people thinking on what to do, but as it is now, that's pretty suspicious to me.
