We are all a little loony and in this cartoon we are invading your TV. Okay if you got the reference to Tiny Toons cartoon show that is great. Tiny toons was a popular cartoon that is closely related to Loony Toons. The cartoon ran from 1990-1994. In the early 1990's they came out with a game based on the cartoon show. So I'm going to be reviewing this game.

Story: 8
Buster Bunny and his friends are watching TV when suddenly Montana Max comes on the TV. For those that do not know Montana Max was a bad guy in the cartoon show. Max tells Buster that he has got his girlfriend and best friend Babs bunny. He tells Buster and his friends he is holding her hostage at his mansion. He challenges Buster and his friends to a duel daring buster to come rescue his friend. Buster, gets his top friends, furball, Dizzy Devil and Plucky Duck to set out to rescue Babs. Okay this is a basic plot. It is a good  plot do not get me wrong. However, it just seems like the makers of this game could have gotten creative. It seems like they were falling for a typical plot Babs is kidnapped and thus is the damsel in distress. Were am I going with this. It is your typical villain plot. The bad guy kidnaps the girl her friends try to save her. This plot has been used so many times in the past that it was nothing new. It would have been nice had there been a little creativity. Still, a good plot just suffering from lack of creativity.

Graphics: 9
The graphics of this game were good. The way the grass swings to the music was nice. The way the backgrounds look are nicely done. I compared the graphics to a game this reminded me of. This game reminded me so much of Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout. Compared to that game the graphics really have improved. The sprints are pretty good too. Enemies look like enemies this time and they look more clear unlike the Bugs Bunny game they were a little choppy. The controls are pretty good too especially when playing as Furball. However Dizzy Devil does seem sluggish when playing as him. The game for the most part does not seem to lag so that is also a bonus. This game had good graphics, sprints and controls for an 8 bit game. The thing as I mentioned that keeps this from getting a 10 is Dizzy Devil being sluggish.

Sound: 9
The sound in this game was pretty good. I liked how each world had a different soundtrack  to it. Also the music fits the stage quite nicely. In the haunted forest the music is slow and kind of gloomy. The Wacky stage has music that is crazy which fits Wacky Land nicely. Also some of the enemies make sounds which is hilarious. Also if your character dies it is so funny when they fall backwards and make a funny sound. This game had some funny sounds to it. However, there is one thing that keeps the rating at a 9 and not a 10. In the second world it sounds like some of the music tingles. I do not know if that was done on purpose or not? But I do not like tingling it just sounds scratchy to me. So this game had a good soundtrack overall. I really liked the sound better in this game than I did the Birthday Blowout game (they are made by the same company).

Addictiveness and Depth: 8
This game is a fun game to play again. I liked Tiny Toons and Loony Tunes when I was a young'n so this game I was excited to play. I still like to go back to this game when I just want a break from Mega Man, Mario and Donkey Kong. The enemies are fun in this game the characters are also fun to play with. This game has decent amount of depth to it. The stages are long. Just like the Birthday Blowout game you have to collect carrots to play the bonus games or to get the carrots exchanged for extra lives. Also each world you can choose a different character to summon if you want too. I personally like to play with Furball because he can climb and is the most rounded of the choices. However, if you are like me I like to play the game through with a certain character. The game gives you as I stated 3 choices so that adds depth and replay value. The levels are actually quite long most have 3 or 4 stages in them. Not to mention if you get caught by Elmara you have to start the world back all over again which takes more time. This game will take a while to beat. The only thing that keeps this from being a higher rating is because there are only 6 worlds. I like games that take awhile.

Difficulty: 7
The difficulty is not to bad in this game. The first time I played this game I was challenged quite a bit. The enemies are placed decent in this game it is so easy to get hit. Not to mention can only get hit twice and that is if you have the extra heart. If you do not find the hearts one hit your done. However, once a player gets to play this game and used to the enemies this game is not so bad. The two worlds that gave me the most trouble were world 4 and 6. World 4 is a pain because enemies throw things at you through the windows. Also you have the exploding barrels so that is a problem. World 6 the last level it is mostly in the dark and there really isn't any light to help you find the way. Two of the world's require puzzles to beat so that requires creativity. However, I was expecting more of a challenge from this game and this is were the game suffers just a little bit. I like games that challenge the player. But maybe I am biased because of playing Mega Man, Mario and Donkey Kong games which are known to be difficult. So this game once a player gets used to the game is not too bad. I gave it a 7 because of the puzzles, the enemy placement, and you can only get 1 or 2 hits.

Overall: 9.1
I really liked this game it was a huge improvement from the Birthday Blowout game. As I said I watched Tiny toons when I was a young'n. To my surprise the game fairly matched the cartoon well. Sometimes Cartoons do not match up to video games. A good example is the Mega Man cartoons. The cartoons did not go along with Mega Man games. In that cartoon Proto Man was a bad guy. If anybody has played Mega Man games they know that Proto Man is not evil he is a brother to Mega Man and Roll. In fact, Proto Man often helps Mega Man defeat Dr. Wily.  Okay back to this game. The characters had the same personality as they did in the show which was nice. I really liked how this game sounded, how the controls worked and the depth of this game. I still like to play this game. I do not know if I can compare it to Mega Man or Mario as well as Donkey Kong. But it is still a fun game. I like to play it. Despite the negatives I pointed out this is a solid game. The  negatives are minor and for the most part they do not bother most players.  So would I recommend this game? Yes I would recommend this game to try.
