The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is an extremely good game and a must buy. This game has plenty for you to do and you will enjoy every minute of playing this game most likely. All though it does have a lot of bugs it does not make the game worse at all. So I am reviewing Skyrim.

 Graphics:
The graphics are amazing because the characters look so realistic and the views are just sometimes beautiful depending on where you are. The dragons which you will fight a lot in the game are extremely detailed and you can tell that they have put a lot of effort in to every single inch of the world you can explore graphic wise. All though there are a lot of bugs in this game the graphics really do not have many except for one with the characters mouths looking weird when they talk Also speaking of that sometimes they just look like they are using magic on their mouths or something because the audio is going on but they are still talking. It also does an amazing job making all the armor, weapons, magic, and building realistic. From run down homes to mansions this game does an amazing job with everything. The mansions that you can have look really old but really nice. The movement it does really well like with people doing little things like shopkeepers putting their hands on the table going so smoothly.I really like the slow motion kill scenes when you kill an enemy because it shows off they graphics really well. So I will give the graphics a 10 out of 10 for the bugs not effecting the amazing realistic graphics.

 Sound:

The sound in this game is amazing from the subtle wilderness music to the fighting music. The magic, like ice, fire, and shock have their own unique sound when you shoot them out of your hands. The weapon sounds sound really great and are different for a lot of the weapons. For example: swords and maces sound different when you slash or bash an enemy with one of them. The generic drunk person sounds are in this game and are the same for most people which is really weird I have to admit. When people are talking everything sounds clear and easy to understand. Oh and it gets better, people do not have the same voice as everyone else in this game even with some of them being the same race as each other. All though people of the same race sound alike that is good but they do not sound completely identical to each other. So I give the sound 9 out of 10 for being really good but not being the best.

 Addictiveness:

I am really addicted to this game because I can be whatever I want. A sword wielding warrior or an archer. There are more things you can be then those. I could play this game for hours because of that and all there is to do. It is different each time you play if you are a different class. It is also fun to go exploring caverns and ruins looking for gold or stuff to sell. Everything about this game to me just makes it so fun to play over and over again. This game can also attract you in because it is just an rpg and everybody likes to play rpgs every now and then don't they. So I give the addictiveness a 10 out of 10 for just being so fun to play again.

Story:

This game's story is really good and intense. The story is that you were heading in to one of the regions of tamriel called skyrim but you enter in and find a camp of some stormcloaks. While you were there a group of imperials went there and kidnapped all of them including you because they were in war with them at the moment and since you were at there camp they assumed you were one of them kidnapped you too. All of you were sent to a town called Helgen to be executed when one of the imperials say that one of them is their leader (the one in the nice clothes obviously) So when it is your turn to step up to the chopping block a dragon attacks causing the executor to stumble down and giving you a chance to get up and get away with either a stormcloak or imperial. This does not decide which side you will choose in the war though. Once you escape you are guided to go to the stronghold of Whiterun to tell the Jarl(governor sort of guy) that a dragon has been spotted and to send troops to the small town of Riverwood. After this he asks you to help his court wizard know more about dragons. After you get the stone and get back to him a dragon gets spotted by Whiterun's watchtower and you need to help them kill it. Once you do kill it you absorb it's soul and the soldiers call you dragonborn which means you have the soul of a dragon but you are in human form and the dragonborn is the only one who can kill a dragon completely. Also the dragonborn can talk in the words of dragons easily and the words of dragons cause some sort of power like force or fire. Then once you report that to the jarl he tells you that you need to go up and see the Greybeards which are masters of the voice and have them train you to deal with the new dragon threat.(There is more story but that would spoil a lot of the game) Since that is just some of the story I think the story deserves a 10 out of 10.

 Depth:

This game just offers a ton to do with like over 80 side quests I think. It has so much to do like just going hunting to killing a dragon. Some side quests are just plain easy but give you a lot of gold or reward. Most of them are adventurous ones though. There are 4 guilds that you can join in the game. The companions(fighters guild) College of Winterhold (mages guild) Dark Brotherhood (assassins guild) and The thieves guild( ya tells you what it is right in the name). Each has a great storyline with quests for you to do even after you do the entire guild story missions. This game also lets you get married and buy a house. There are a lot of people in the game to marry but 2 of the races have absolutely no people to marry which I just hate because one of the races I just love to play as. You do not have to marry people of the same race though but I like to. There are a lot of races to choose from at the beginning of the game and each of them are good at some skills like orcs are good at smithing and wood elves are good at archery. Each skill you can level up but you only have to get enough levels with one or multiple skills to gain a full level. Once you gain a full level you can choose to upgrade one of the 3. Those 3 are health, magic, and stamina. So as I said there is just tons to do and the game will most likely give you more then 90 hours at least of gameplay. I give the depth a 10 out of 10.

 Difficulty:
Skyrim has hard to learn control but once you do learn everything it will be fun. There are some really tough enemies like giants and mammoths but once you get leveled up they will not be such a challenge. There is a difficulty option so it is kind of hard to rate but I will give the difficulty a 8 out of 10 because of how hard it can be sometimes.

 Overall:
Overall I strongly suggest you get this game even if it is kind of glitchy.

Nice job! I can tell that you really worked hard on this. I like how you gave examples of things like in the graphics and sound. I am going to leave it up to Eirinn and sonicthehedgehog57 if they want to feature it or not. Good job, keep writing great reviews!

Not bad, but you might want to do some work with the formatting of your paragraphs, maybe make them a bit shorter and justify them. Other than that, it's a good review.

awesomeguy279 : That was a very nice & well written review you went into great detail for most of the sections and weren't just continuing to write for your total number of words which I liked and enjoy in a review,  the only thing I may add is when you talked about the difficulty maybe you can give an example from within the game where you had trouble be it with controls or just a certain area. Either way great review and keep up the good work! (also take zanderlex's advice to mind since it will help you out in the long run of things with the justifying part)

It would be hard to review Skyrim in PC because you can modify it so much, graphics, sounds, glitches ....everything. But this was a good review for PS3. Keep up the good work.

Patrick Star : And you have the nerve to criticize my review for Corpse Party 3DS, even though your review here doesn't even explain how the game plays. At least my review for Corpse Party 3DS explained how it played, even though that game doesn't have much gameplay to it. Meanwhile, this review for Skyrim doesn't explain anything about its gameplay, despite there being a lot to it. What's up with that? I'm not saying explain it all, but you could at least do something! And I don't care if the default six category format doesn't have Gameplay, you should seriously add it! To quote what you said about my review for Corpse Party 3DS, "Yes your review is long and has a lot of depth to it but that does not make it good in my eyes." Seriously, without gameplay, a video game is no different than a movie. I have a whole thread dedicated to stressing the importance of this issue (https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102199).

Overall, though, this review sucks for the same reason just about every other review on this website sucks; simple-minded dialogue, abysmal grammar complete with various capitalization and punctuation issues, and saving the worst for last, no mention of the gameplay at all. You have no real right to judge me, because your video game reviews don't explain gameplay and your grammar is very rushed and overall sloppy and terrible. You're not a hopeless idiot, you just have to seriously remedy these major flaws. Otherwise...

Rayman85 : If you wouldn't go around the website and say that every review sucks, that would be great. We've build this community to be supportive and we accept constructive criticism, but to just go around and attack people for reviews they made 5 years ago, is not within our vision.

I'd also like to mention that the traditional review standard we use doesn't include gameplay, and therefore is no reason to be critical of a review for leaving it out. If you want to include it, fine, but people can review a game as they like and we encourage them to do so. It is their opinion after all.

Barathemos : The traditional review standard doesn't include gameplay? That is unbelievably stupid! How the hell could one leave off the most important part of a video game review!? The fact you said that like it was completely normal is also really messed up! Hell, gameplay is the only thing that makes video games different than movies. Otherwise, we might as well be reviewing movies instead of games. Can you justify not explaining gameplay on a video game review and how that could logically work in any real sense? If sources like IGN or Gamespot didn't explain gameplay in their reviews just like you guys, their reviews would be completely dismissed and would become a source of ridicule alongside giving them as a whole a very bad reputation.

The way it stands now, reviews here are just made to express purely subjective opinions on a games presentation with no regard at all towards the game itself. They don't tell you why it's so fun aside from it's presentation, and in those cases, it's all painfully subjective even for review standards. If someone were to read a review here hoping to know what a game is about, they'd be left completely hopeless. I can't stress enough how important it is to explain gameplay in a video game review! I have a whole thread dedicated to stressing the importance of this issue (https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102199), and yet fools around here still try to justify excluding the essential category. Some are purely guilty of such acts and they know it, and avoid the thread altogether. It really is that simple, yet the stupid standard here excludes it altogether. Excluding gameplay from a video game review is like removing the patty from a hamburger; the burger would just become bread with condiments and ketchup, and the review would be judging nothing more than a games presentation just like a movie review would. To explain gameplay in a video game review is, in a single word, essential. But is it really that hard?
