I just got an NES as an early Christmas present! I am so happy! I love it! I got it on eBay for $100, and it came with all the needed wires, 2 controllers, the zapper gun, and 10 games. Everything is in perfect condition.

I am not sure what games to get, so can someone recommend some to me? Here are the games that came with it:

-Adventure Island
-Back to the Future 2 and 3 (in the same cartridge)
-Ducktales
-NES Open Tournament Golf
-Platoon
-R.C. Pro-AM
-Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and World Class Track Meet (all in the same cartridge)
-Super Off-Road
-Tiger-Heli
-To the Earth

Super Mario Bros 3. That is the only Nes game that is worth a flip. Lol but really Mario 3, rockin kats, Gauntlet, Gauntlet 2 (my favorite nes game), Super Mario Bros, Rad Racer, Ummm that is all I can think of for the Nes. Don't believe me, Read some reviews about the game(People hated the living junk out of it.)


Lunar Pool is a pretty fun game,  so I can recommend that to you.

The entire main Mario collection on the NES is to recommend, along with Kirby's Adventure, Duck Hunt especially, Contra.

Wow the NES has to be one of my favourite consoles. I got a SNES recently and I know what games I am getting for that. So what pieces of 8-bit plastic shall I recommend?

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles beat-em-up styled games are pretty fun with a buddy for co-op.

I'm also a big fan of the two StarTropics games. They offer a playstyle similar to Zelda, with a greater emphasis on combat rather than puzzles.

  Definitely Metroid, Castlevania, Tetris, and Zelda, though there are many other good games. And, of course, you can never go wrong with Mario.....except maybe the North American sequel, that was horrible.

I agree with madison that Startropics is a good buy. Get the first one. I would also suggest Battletoads, Battletoads & Double Dragons - The Ultimate Team, and Snake Rattle n' Roll.
