Welcome to the pokemon reviews now i could start this off with a sarcastic joke that does nothing but fuel my arrogant ego but i say screw that lets just start this review because i am tired bored and hungry...well thirsty

Moveset

Astonish:this move has a base attack damage of 30 has 100% accuracy and has a 30% chance of making the target flinch,this move is okay for getting you off your feet but its pretty worthless later on so use it for now but screw it later

Mudslap,3: This move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 100% accuracy,also this move lowers the targets accuracy by 1 stage,this is okay but do not use it for damage just use it for its effect

Poison sting,8:This move has a base attack damage of 15 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 30% chance of poisoning the target,decent move but we have astonish which is better than mudslap and poison sting so...just keep using astonish

Taunt,10: alright after the user uses this move the target cannot use 1 of the moves in its set for a limited time,i guess this thing does have its uses but unless your a psychic and can predict the future...this move is not going to be that good

Pursuit,15: This move has a base attack damage of 40 and has 100% accuracy,also this move will almost always hit first,finally we have something to replace astonish take it done

Faint attack,17: This move has a base attack damage of 60 and has 100% accuracy,also this move will almost always hit first because it is not effected by stat changes

Revenge,22:this move has a base attack damage of 60 and has 100% accuracy,also this moves damage is doubled to 120 if you took damage on the turn you used this move,this is currently the best move we have in our set so take it

Swagger,24:this move raises the targets attack by 2 stages but also confuses the target...i guess this move has its uses but i did not have to use it much so...take it if you want but i don't like it

Mud bomb,29: Okay this move has a base attack damage of 65 and has 85% accuracy also this move 30% chance of lowering the targets accuracy by 1 stage,once again you guys already know i prefer accuracy over power and this move is pretty risky but...i guess i can recommend it but don't think you can use it all the time because you are going to be SOO upset and pissed off about this move

Sucker punch,31: This dark type move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy also this move has EXTREME accuracy and will almost always hit and also will almost always hit first if the target is using a damaging type move,great move please take it

Venoshock,36: Alrighty this move has a base attack damage of 65 and has 100% accuracy,also this move's damage is doubled to 130 if the target is already poisoned,This move is...somewhat of a tricky it will be useful since this pokemon is a poison type and you are going to run into poisoned pokemon from time to time so i recommend that if you have an extra slot just keep this move in your back pocket because i promise you that when you finally face a pokemon that is poisoned,this move will most likely make it faint in 1 or 2 hits

Alright at level 37 we get Toxicroak and my god this is one of the coolest pokemon i have ever seen,i mean just look at it...why didn't i do this thing for awesome month

Nasty plot,41: Okay now he have the move the competitive community has a big old hard on for,nasty plot raises the users Special attack stat by 2 stages,this is a great move but its not for this pokemon

Poison jab,49: ah one of my favorite moves,this move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 30% chance of poisoning the target,one of my favorites take it done

Sludge Bomb,54:Now this move has a base attack damage of 90 and has 100% accuracy,Also this move has a 30% chance of poisoning the target,great move take it done

Flatter,62:this move raises the targets special attack by 1 stage then confuses it,this is actually a pretty good move so use it but ONLY when you have a target on the run


Stats

Hp,83: This is a pretty...okay stat but i have not relied on it the entire time i have been testing so..i guess this passes as okay

Attack,106: Alright now we have Toxicroak's highest stat and my god this helped me alot,and sometimes you can actually feel when this stat is taking effect like when your using a move that is somewhat weak but is still taking 1/4 of the targets health off,great stat i guess thats why its his highest

Defense,Special defense,65:yeah this is one of Toxicroaks lower stats and it shows,i was not able to take alot of hits because of this stat so..yeah its kind of bad

Special attack,86:despite its somewhat low numbers this is still a good stat because this pokemon does have a fair amount of special attack moves in its set so this is a good stat

Speed,85:This guy does have a decent speed which i think is good because in my opinion if you have low stats and you have a good attack stat the thing you need the most to compliment strength is speed which is exactly what this pokemon does so bravo to you speed bravo to you

Alright i will be fair here this thing does not have alot of weaknesses and to be honest there not even that common,these are flying ground and psychic...thats pretty good i mean only flying is common and there are a TON of weaknesses for flying that can be found everywhere as for psychic though that might be a bit more tricky and your going to have to look a bit until you find a pokemon that can counter that,as for ground its basically the same thing for flying weaknesses for ground can be found everywhere so it should not be to hard

As for leveling...yes this pokemon takes forever to level and i rarely ever say that,and remember i level my pokemon naturally when testing that means NO EV training and NO rare candies at all so..i really hope you can fight through the grind because patience is key for using this pokemon so once again good luck

Alright as always let me tell you how this set works

Deathstroke: Man you are getting boring..

Relinquish: piss off Deathstroke

Sword dance: This move is here to boost all of you attacks specifically drain punch

Drain punch: Drain punch,this move is here for when you need HP and this move already does enough damage but sword dance takes it even further,when this moves attack is boosted so is the amount of health that you drain so sword dance will be highly effective for this move

Stone edge: This move is here to protect you from flying types...thats it

Poison jab:this move is here to be your main attack move,its not here to protect you from anything its just used to cut pokemon down


Gyms rivals and Elite 4

Gyms:this guy is only useful in gyms once its fully evolved and still i did not say its a great pokemon to take in gyms i just said that its not complete deadwieght,but still this is a good pokemon to take in gyms once its fully evolved so go ahead and take it

Rivals:This thing is somewhat effective against your rival but trust me later on its going to get really tough like to the point or rage quiting really tough,so enjoy it being effective against him/her while you can because trust me its not going to last

Elite 4:...no its not going to work out i promise you that you are going to fail so much that it will drive you insane,maybe if you train this thing to be about 10 levels higher than there pokemon this guy could work but as of now NO its not going to be effective

Tips

1.While Toxicroak is not the bulkiest pokemon ever he does have a great attack stat so just give this guy leftovers and he should be able to take a couple of hits

2.While i dont recommend Ev training for this guy,if you must i recommend focusing on speed and ONLY speed because this pokemon needs its

Final thoughts:Um..he's okay to be honest i never expected for this pokemon to be great and he's not but he is not worth never being used at some point in time,he has a pretty good moveset,hit and miss stats,a pretty good variety of tms and hms,and he is okay against the a.i,honestly i would never use this pokemon for a serious playthrough but i got to admit i did have fun using it and i do recommend picking it up if you want to have fun so take it for what its worth,a pretty cool pokemon

Fun fact: People often ask me whats the hardest part about writing these reviews and honestly its the moveset,its not that its hard to wright its just that its boring and tedious all i do is tell you what the move does and give you my thoughts on them,and i know that basically what a review is but i have to do its so many times and often i run into the sames moves so it gets pretty boring,its like crunching numbers it boring and tedious but not hard

Where did the comic strip went? I really liked that part. I hope you bring it back. Anyway, I liked what you did in your new formatting. It looks way more neater like this.

I like how you keep on saying pursuit has priority. It does not. It doubles the power when you're opponent is switching out. Fainted attack also doesn't have priority. This might help you in the future.
