WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME to the pokemon reviews,now you all may have noticed in my Murkrow review that i said there will be some changes to the review format and there are so i thought what better to do then to go back to the basics and today...tonight,this is at midnight btw i dont have work tomorrow and i am bored,anyway i am going to review a starter since there pretty basic and you might have noticed what that starter is...if you have not well then piss off i am not telling you,also you are mentally retarded

NOW before i do that i need to tell you about at user named D'Zed this guy is a new Pokemon reviewer who seems to have gotten the idea to do the reviews because of me

Anyway as i was saying this guys reviews are awesome so i suggest you check them out because there are some elements in his reviews that are better than mine like grammer...i don't do proper grammer i think its literally pointless all your doing is wasting time and characters for something that about 95% of the people on the internet can already understand.alright enough ranting the point is this guy is very good with reviews and i suggest you check him out just to see if you like him or not give em a chance,and if you enjoy his reviews give him a thumbs up leave a comment and toon in for another review,here is a link to his first review which is Abra

Tackle-this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy...it sucks but we don't really have a choice

Tail whip,lv3-This move lowers the targets defense by 1 stage...PFFT HA HA HA HA-

Ember,lv7-This move has a base attack damage of 40 and has 100% accuracy also this move has a 10% chance of burning the target,its a little weaker than tackle but hey were forced to take it anyway

Order Sleuth,lv9-this move prevents ghost types pokemon's immunity to normal and fighting type moves...excuse me i am going to go commit suicide so uh..just tell Kid Frieza and Deathstroke that i'll see them on the other side *walks away while whistling*

Defense Curl,lv13-alright this move raises your defense stat by 1 stage...no...no..no

Flame Charge,lv15-alright we have the fire types answer to tackle,this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy,also this move raises the users speed stat by 1 stage,awesome move replace ember with this because tackle is actually better take it done

At level 17 we get pignite and this become's ALOT less cute...sorry for judging by looks,also when this thing evolves it learns arm thrust,this fighting type move has a base attack damage of 15 and hits 2-5 times,this is a decent move take it done

Smog,lv20-this poison type move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 70% accuracy,now i could just stop now and tell you this move sucks but there is something else to it,this move also has a 40% chance of poisoning the target,so this move sacrifices everything just for a better chance to poison the target...your bravery has been noted smog...futile but noted

Rollout,lv23-oh rollout the move that every kid from gen 2 HATES TO THE CORE because of whitney and her FREAKING MILKTANK-anyway this rock type move has a base attack damage of 30 and has 90% accuracy,also this move damage increases the more times it used and keeps hitting in a row from 30-50-70 and so on,so i guess i can recommend this move but i didnt have much use for it

Takedown,lv28-alright this move has a base attack damage of 90 and has 85% accuracy also this forces the user to take 25% of the damage the target takes as recoil,great move one of my favorite but PLEASE use it sparingly

Heat crash,lv31-alright heat crash this move depends on the users weight...i don't know how this move works but based on my time using it its pretty good so take it

Assurance,lv36-okay this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy also this moves damage Doubles if you have been damaged the turn you use it,this is one of my favorite dark type moves but to be honest its not very good so take it if you want but i dont like it...technically

Oh yeah now we have Emboar forgot to mention that...

Flamethrower,lv43-Now this is one of my favorite fire type moves and in my opinion its the best fire type move in this things set,this move has a base attack damage of 95 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 10% chance of burning the target,GREAT MOVE arguably the best move in this things set take it done

Head smash,lv50-okay this move has a base attack damage of 150 and has 80% accuracy also the user takes half if the damage as recoil,i..guess this move is technically good possibly great even but its way to risky for me i prefer accuracy over power so..take it if you want but i dont like it

Roar,lv55-...really Porky your doing this to yourself...?you make me sick.

Flare blitz,62-okay to end this pretty good moveset we have flare blitz,this fire type move has a base attack damage of 120 and has 100% accuracy...pfft you think your getting away with that HA the user takes 1/3 of the damage of recoil....thats 1/3 that is so much damage to take thats insane and for me its to big of a risk but...hey its better than head smash and i will admit i did have fun using this move so take it if you want.

Stats

Hp:110-this is one of Emboars highest stats and also one of his best stats trust me that bulk is always going to be there for you when you are taking alot of damage

Attack:123-alright this thing has a pretty good attack but..does it really have to be that high,i know that sounds weird and really its like nitpicking a movie but come on you could have spread those stats so evenly so they could have been alot more balanced and soon you will see what i am talking about

Defense:65-Uh..why is the attack so high but the defense is terrible..i mean jesus this is pretty bad at least you have the health i guess

Special attack:120-alright now your making up the defense this is pretty good now we can have a balanced attack for out team good job Emboar

Defense/speed:65-woah...these really freaking blow...

Alright now for the section of the review where i tell you about leveling and its...kind of slow but just keep at it and you will get a good pokemon just fight through the grind fight through the GRIND

As for weaknesses this guy has 4 of them,flying psychic water and ground now most of those are common and your going to be running into those ALOT but really all you have to do is find weaknesses for this guys weaknesses i mean there not that hard to find anyway

Alright this set i meant to be all out attack mixed with a little bit of protecting yourself from weaknesses,

Flare blitz:this move is here to take down the strongest of threats i mean the real baddies,reserve this move for the biggest threats and do not waste it on stupid cannon fodder

Flamethrower:this move is here for when you want to use a fire type move but you dont want to use flare blitz ,just use this move instead

Wild charge:This move is hear to protect you from flying types and this helped me out ALOT you may think its useless sometimes but trust me when you come across a flying type this move will be you knight and shining armor

Earthquake:this move is here to be your main attack move its not really there to protect you from anything its just there to cut Random pokemon down so..enjoy it

Gyms rivals and elite 4

Gyms:alright this thing is pretty awesome in gyms and the whole game in general and it basically has to be its a freaking STARTER,anyway this thing is good in gyms,your going to run into some trouble early on but once you get it to its first evolution it should not be that much of a problem anymore

Rival : once again this guy is excellent against your rival in fact its one of the best pokemon i have ever tested against the rival,now the funny thing is this is going to be the exact opposite of gyms,its going to be easy early on but its going to get tougher as time go's on so just be on guard and it should not be that much of a problem

Trainers are nothing but cannon fodder moving on blah blah blah

Elite 4:now should you take this thing to the elite 4...yeah you really should it is such a great pokemon there that its insane you are going to have some trouble though because the elite 4 is basically meant to crush starters but just remember to always have a good backup team and you should be fine


Tips

1.This guy (once fully evolved) is a great tank for your team because of its massive bulky health and because of its mixed attacker like stats

2.If your going to use flare blitz often be sure to give this thing a healing item like leftovers

3.Be sure to give this thing a wide variety of tms it will help this thing alot

4.okay i don't really believe that this pokemon needs to be Ev trained at all because its stats are pretty good on its own but if you must i recommend you focus on its speed,and ONLY its speed thats it thats all you need to focus on because thats the only thing that screwed me over when testing

Final thoughts:Alright...what a great pokemon i mean kudos bravo to you tepig you are freaking awesome it is SOO refreshing to review a great pokemon, you have a great movest, lacking but still effective stats,pretty good tms,and you are awesome against gyms rivals and the elite 4 and i have not reviewed a pokemon that is great at the elite 4 in a LONG time,still you have your problems like your weaknesses,your somewhat lacking stats and other things but still your pretty good, all in all trainers if you can get your hands on this pokemon please take it i promise you that you won't regret it and to top it all off this pokemon gets and agent of awesomeness badge for being one of the best if not the best fire type Pokemon that i have review good job buddy good job

Fun fact: funny thing,in borderlands 2 my favorite character to play as and my main is Gaige the mechromancer,and my girlfriends name is Gaige...weird

And thats the new format,it takes me a bit longer to do but..i really like and i think i am going to stick with it for a bit,or at least until i get bored of it so...yeah i guess this is how the review will go from now on as always if you guys have any request on what i should do next just tell me

Seeing as how emboar weighs a ton, and his attack being better then his special attack, heat crash is technically this things best move. Flamethrower will work just as fine, but I prefer heat crash. I'd teach the guy scald by tm (yes it can learn that water attack) because it counters some weaknesses. + chandelure (who is immune for fighting, resists/is immune to fire, depending on the ability and can be immune to ground, depending on ability. You also see those a lot) When I ran one, this was it's set:

-Heat Crash
-Scald
-Wild Charge
-Earthquake


I don't see the need for fighting attacks, as none of it's weaknesses are weak to it. Yes I do carry a fire move, which is technically not needed, but you need some STAB. And Heat Crash/Flamethrower> Arm Thrust/Hammer arm
