Okay..before we get this started i need to tell you slakoths Ability because everyone hates it and i have to talk about it...this pokemons ability is it only attacks ever other turn...yeah that blows i said it done but hey its awesome month and i am doing a review on this pokemon so i must like it so let me tell you why 

Come on guys its freaking funny and cute just the way it sits there not doing a thing and its obviously a parody to a sloth and i love sloths so...i guess thats why i like him

MOVESET

At the start this guy will only have scratch and yawn...meh its all we got

At level 7 we get encore...pfft 

Now at level 13 we get slack off this move recovers half of the users health this is a good move take it 

At level 18 we get vigoroth and we finally lose that crappy ability and get a MAJOR stat boost and i mean major like about 300...thats alot of stat points 

Now at level 19 we get fury swipes...we all know i dont like these moves but take it if you want 

at level 25 we get endure this move will always make the user survive a 1 hit K.O 

At level 31 we get slash a normal type move with a base damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy and has a VERY high critical hit ratio take i this is one of the best moves in this things set

And finally at level 36 we get slaking and my god this thing is powerful but i will get to that later 

Also when this thing evolves it gets swagger a move that raises the targets attack by 2 stages but confuses the target as well...i dont like it but i wont say its pointless 

Okay at level 37 we get chip away a move with a base attack damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy also this move ignores the targets boost in defense in speed this is a great move take it 

Relinquish:At level 43 we get counter... Oh shi-

Dudley:CROSS COUNTER

Relinquish: OH COME ON THATS 2 REVIEWS IN A ROW

Moving on at level 49 we get flail a move that damages depends on how low the users health is i dont know the exact numbers but thats the base of it so...i dont like it use it if you want

At level 55 we get fling this move damage depends on the item the user is carrying...ugh

ONCE AGAIN we get punishment this move damage DEPENDS on the users stat...i...i dont know either 

FINALLY to end this train wreck of a moveset at level 67 we get hammer arm this move has a base damage of 100 and has 90% accuracy but lowers the users speed by 1 level...this is by far the best move in this things set take it..

STATS

Okay guys the moveset blows but trust me that stats DO NOT this things stats all together equal up to 670...yep that is one of the highest stats i have ever reviewed and the best part is its not a pokemon that puts all its stats into a few stats they are balanced...to an extent this guys first stat is its defense at 150...my god that will help you so much SO MUCH i cant even go on about how good it is a literally cant because you already know its good great even alright and next we have slakings highest stat which is its attack at 160..thats more THAN SOME LEGENDARY POKEMON THAT IS INSANE THATS HIGHER THAN RAMPARDOS..im sorry  but i have no idea about what i should say i really dont so...next okay defense at 100 that is awesome maybe a little bad compared to everything else but thats only because this pokemon set the bar so high alright now smartly this pokemons lowest stats are its special attack at 95 and its special defense at 65 and i give this pokemon credit it knows its set and knows how to compliment them so while this may seem bad...its actually pretty smart if you think about it and finally its last stat is its speed at 100 same stat as its defense and once again i really dont need to say anything except that this is a great stat but still thats not all this pokemons only weakness is common but it is only 1 weakness and thats fighting that is the only thing this pokemon is weak to and you wont even notice that and still this pokemon is immune to ghost types,..this might be the greatest stat i have ever reviewed...i am serious someone go through all my other reviews and check them because i think this is the best

Okay okay this set is not all out at...3/4's of it are but not all of it Aerial ace does serve a purpose and thats to defend you from fighting types other than that...you got me its all out attack but dont blame me...i guess you have to but blame this things tms and hms other than that if you guys have some ideas just tell me 

GYMS AND RIVALS 

Alright this thing is very good against gyms i mean it while its not the best its very good i did not have much trouble while i was testing this thing but thats not because of its moves its because of its stats its power its health and its defense helped me out so much but you are going to have some problems still its going to be rare so as always have your back up team ever this guy is strong but not invincible as for you rival he will not be that much of a challenge i can honestly say that especially when we get slaking but thats only because of one thing..this guys weakness not weaknesses weakness the rivals almost never have a fighting type pokemon and thank god for that you can just plow through anything he/she can dish out and the trainers are nothing just cannon fodder mindless drones the die for the queen dont even worry about them...i think i can be a poetic...anyway should you take this thing to the elite 4...yep i recommend you take this  thing because it has ALL the 3 things you need to survive attack speed and type advantage this is the first pokemon i have reviewed that have all 3 of those things i highly recommend you take this thing 

Final Thoughts:okay...i am...a bit split about this guy it is a great pokemon but...i dont know it just requires a certain trainer to use it thats when it can be effective you need to know everything about this pokemon every hidden tactic every community made trick to have this pokemon at its full power other than that this is a great pokemon it has a terrible moveset a great stat great against gyms and destroys the elite 4 all you need to do is survive its extreme training and thats why i once again say it just needs a certain kind of trainer you need to put in some time and dedication to make this thing work but i refuse to deny its extreme power if you think you can tame this beast be my guess but just remember its not for everyone.

During my last replay of Emerald, I decided to catch me a Slakoth. I have heard tremendous things about Slaking, how he is such a beast with basically legendary stats. One thing I didn't account for was the ability Truant. My goodness, I despise that ability...both Slakoth and Slaking have it. Vigoroth has an ability that makes sure he doesn't go to sleep...I forgot the name though. Anyway, Truant truly makes it really hard to train your Slakoth. However, Truant on Slaking isn't so bad, seeing how many many Pokémon have such a hard time bringing down that lazy fortress. 

Ever since I have used Slaking, I would definitely say, if you have the patience to train a Pokémon with Truant, then by all means, go for it! Slaking is really honestly worth every hour spent training. 

Now, for a good move set, I must say that you should definitely have Shadow Ball. This move is so helpful when fighting Ghost types, seeing how normal cannot be affected by Ghost type attacks, and vice versa. Another move is Return. Get Slaking to love you, and boy oh boy, this is going to be a OHKO fest (most of the time). The 2 remaining move slots are up to you...I would usually keep Slack Off, if Slaking ever happens to go down below 50% HP. His move pool isn't so bad, but to be honest, Slaking doesn't need much more of a move pool than what he already has, for his stats are just amazing. 

By the way, the ability Truant makes the user attack every 2 turns, for those who didn't know.

Also i was considering shadow ball but that is a special attack move not a attack move and slakings special attack is kind of..low so thats why i picked night slash it may be slightly less powerful but it got the job done for me at least.

Anyway, I forgot that Shadow Ball was Sp. Attack. I guess I overused Return a lot in Emerald xD
I guess Night Slash is a legit attack for Slaking to have as well. I don't think I ever used it on Slaking, but I am going to try it! Thanks.

Another Awesome Month thread, I actually like Slakoth and its evolutions, the only thing I do not like about Slakoth is that its ability is most of the time Truant, and it is bad.
