Select a game that should be made and Describe it in a few words if you can.
This is not a top ten sequels thread but if all you can come up with is a top ten list of sequels then go ahead. Though it would be better to describe a game you would want to play.
Since "Sand Box Games" are being perfected (Getting good.), no longer experimental, and almost always follow Crime fiction?
I think it would be good to Revisit "Tatantino's movies" and Remake them all in one big 100+ hour game.
True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Reservoir dogs (Redux), Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, From Dusk Till Dawn, Kill Bill, Death Proof, Inglorious B@$#@#%$... All of them.
Plus I would have Several possible outcomes for each of these films to be decided on how you played.
You play though True Romance (Begining section of the game) you could have the option of being a cop or a mobster or a buddy of the lost couple. (Standard character creator stuff.)
Regular Sand box Adventure stuff. Big Cities to explore. All sorts of Mini games Etc, Etc, Etc,
Have a chance to affect the plot of the shows at key points. (Who would not want to see the scene between Denis Hopper and Christopher Walken again. Then Mount a rescue or eliminate Hopper's character, Or Kill all in the room and see what happens next?
Hundreds of chances for potential here.)
At True Romances end? You could have the option of eliminating the lead Couple, or eliminating the law enforcement, or eliminating the mobsters,
OR
Pick Two Groups to Eliminate and One to Survive,
OR
Eliminate everyone and collect your reward or Sting your employer.
That's just finishing up the Opening Portion and it could take around 10 to 11 hours to do so.
The rest of the game can be just as nuts and involve all kinds of brilliance and "Pulp Fiction Style" mixed up order as well.
Any other Ideas on this would be welcome.
Also.
I would like to hear some of your ideas on a cool game that could be made if developers and the big companies they work for could knuckle down for a cool ideas like this.
Good Luck.
Peace.
