Well, according to sales chart and all of that other fancy stuff, apparently Pokemon Blue Versoin was the best RPG game every made. In my opinion, I'd have to say that I really like Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. It is a really great game because you can level up into the thousands, there are hundreds of hours of gameplay and just tons if things to do.

I would have to say Final Fantasy 7 because it has a rich storyline and epic bosses like Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon, Ultima Weapon, and Diamond Weapon, those bosses were awesome and challenging.

It has genre hybrid elements, but overall if you count Dues Ex as an rpg then I'm going to have to say the original Dues Ex. It has great gameplay and a great storyline, what more can you ask for?

The best RPGs are Shinning in the Darkness, Shinning Force, Shinning Force 2, Pokemon Yellow, Yu-Gi-Oh Worldwide Edition - Stairway to the Destined. All of them are very different and awesome in there own way.

Getting some nice answers. Personally Earthbound to me was.... well it was a good game but just not my style. I felt like I was on acid and I've never even done drugs. Still a great game. Also about Deus ex, I would count that since it has some form of rpg elements. Just like system shock 2 is technically and rpg/fps/horror. Though I still have yet to play all of them, Most of the SMT games are what I love to play. The challenge is incredible and on SMT1 I even was killed by the first enemy I ever encountered.

From a story standpoint,I find Magical star-sign to be amazing,its funny,its cute and endearing and it has a huge story whiplash near the end and becomes pretty dark,but it works very well,my only issues with it was,while the art and tiles where really good,some of the portraits where kinda meh and the enemy designs weren't the most creative.

Probably Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall or Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, I mean compared to Skyrim those two games are more RPG-like in the Elder Scrolls Series.  It's hard to decide.

I don't know. It's my sister's game, so sometimes she'll let me play it when I am visiting. I wonder if she has deleted my file yet...
