Here is my review of Super Mario Kart!
This was the very first Mario Kart game ever.

Graphics: 5 The Reason I give the graphics a five is that the Mario characters are all pixelated and the track is too.

Difficulty : 10 I can Never get past the level without hitting the wall ONCE,the D-Pad is very hard to control the car as in Mario Kart 64 it is very easy to control.

Story: 1 The Game has no story, just races.

Sound: 7 The Sound is not as great as the Mario Kart 64 Version, but for the Super Nintendo, it is not that bad.

Depth: 5 The game is not TOO long if you are playing only one or two tracks, but if you are playing ALL the tracks, it is very long.

Addictiveness: 3 Too be honest, I rather play the Mario Kart 64 Version then Super Mario Kart,I know its older than the Nintendo 64, but I believe they could have done better.

Overall Score: 5 I know they could do better but for the Super Nintendo but it is not all that bad.

Not bad, I have played this ga e before and it is always really laggy for me and it never plays smoothly, I am sure it is a great game to play, I just wish it would play faster though. This review has most of the basics that a review should have, I think you could really go into a lot more detail with it though, you can say what made this game good enough so overall it wasn't a bad game to play. You have good things to say, I just think you could add more to make it more interesting and longer. Give reasoning to back up your scores and word count won't be a problem. Overall it isn't bad, just aim for 500 words and try fitting in more detail to your review. Practice makes perfect so keep it up and keep trying and reviewing!

Not too bad for a first review. It was ok. Here are a few suggestions for future reference though. First of all, you might want to go into more detail about each category. For example, how did the graphics effect the look of the game of the game in general. Or how much fun did the depth provide and provoke. Longer reviews appeal more to the reviewer eye. So good luck in the future.
