Yeah, I would have to say RPG as well. Especially in sandbox games, like GTA, where you can do whatever you want, and it's in a realistic world.
But I love fantasy RPG's as well, like Final Fantasy. There is a lot of creativity and imagination that goes through in making great fantasy RPG's like Final Fantasy.

I grew up on Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and those games just seem to have almost unlimited replay value for me. Of course, I tend to care as much about game-play mechanics as I do for plot, and I've always liked the way platform games handle. Among my favorites for platformers are Crash, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank.

A close second to this genre would be RPGs. The tendency toward a longer game is appealing, and the storylines tend to be deeper and more immersive. The action-adventure genre gets an honorable mention for me, if only for the Legend of Zelda series, and I also like turn based strategy games, such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem.
