I like the survivor horror games. Those are fun; I've been hooked ever since I played my first Resident Evil game.

Barathemos : I really like RPG games, like Mario. I also like Pokemon series, one of the best series and such as the Mario series...

This will always be my favorite no matter what.

I like RPGs the best. They are definitely my favorite. I love sports games too, but RPGs are the games that I like to play the most.

I like adventure games best. I like being able to go around and explore the world, and stuff like that. That's one of the reasons I really like The Legend of Zelda series.

I like to play the most First Person Shooter games, the second genre on my list is the action games and the third one is... well, retro games maybe? Yeah, retro games... !

My favorite type of game is RPG.  I'm mainly directing my attention to the Final Fantasy and Pokemon series.

Yeah, I would have to say RPG as well. Especially in sandbox games, like GTA, where you can do whatever you want, and it's in a realistic world.
But I love fantasy RPG's as well, like Final Fantasy. There is a lot of creativity and imagination that goes through in making great fantasy RPG's like Final Fantasy. 

Action/Adventure RPG's like Final Fantasy and Zenonia. I like knowing I can level up and roam around freely to do as I please, while the goal is still achievable all the while. Pokémon is a great example because its all about leveling up to get past the next goal, being it a gym leader or your rival, its awesome and I love it.

If anyone has any games like this they can throw my way, please,I beg you, please let me know. I'm dying of boredom.

I like action and Role Playing games . But of the two .. Role Playing is the more favoured in my case . With classics like Pokemon and Legend of Zelda ... Final Fantasy and lots more it just draws me toward it  

It would be a tie between platform and sandbox for me. Platforms seem a little easier, but sandboxes are open, and you can explore with no bounds! Most of the time anyway.

It's very difficult for me to just pick one, but if I had to, I'd probably say platforming games. I grew up on Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and those games just seem to have almost unlimited replay value for me. Of course, I tend to care as much about game-play mechanics as I do for plot, and I've always liked the way platform games handle. Among my favorites for platformers are Crash, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank.

A close second to this genre would be RPGs. The tendency toward a longer game is appealing, and the storylines tend to be deeper and more immersive. The action-adventure genre gets an honorable mention for me, if only for the Legend of Zelda series, and I also like turn based strategy games, such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem.

Overall, it is a really tough decision to just pick one genre, but I would go with platformers.

I have to say RPG's are my favorite and Action RPG's are just getting better and better... thou at times it does seem like they take steps back when devos work too much on making it look pretty and forget about game play and story, But I digress I just find RPG's to offer the most verity in the long run as well as longer game play.

I Like RPGs and Open World games like GTA, I really like to do whatever I want without worry about finishing the game, RPG with open world are my really passion, too bad that there's few good games in this genre.

My favorite type of video game is Role-playing/adventure. Also, I like game that require strategy, yet are still adventurous. Just like Pokemon, and the Mario and Luigi series of RPGs.
