Final Fantasy VII.... Where do I even begin? This game means more to me than any other Video Game in the Planet. What can I say... It's my favorite game of all time... I honestly can't remember how I first found out about this game. Well... Years and Years ago our family had recieved a package from my sister. It was a bunch of our stuff that we had left with her, but my brother got the game "Final Fantasy VII". I don't know where it began, but my brother started playing it. I remember it clearly. He'd read me the dialouge within the game. I remember the first time he reached first boss. He failed on it, and my other brother who was about 4-6 tried it and beat it. Pretty hilarious huh? That's mainly where my nostalgia for this game kicks in. All my memory's of watching him play it... the entire time. It's definitely my favorite Memory's in gaming. By the time I was old enough to understand an RPG, I decided to purchase FFVII off eBay. That's the first time I ever beat it. I had played the game TONS while watching my brother, but this was the first time I sat down and did my own thing. This lead to more and more memory's.... It was great. This would still remain my favorite game of all time, even it weren't for the enourmos nostalgia. The Game is that damn good. Well, enough about gushing over my memory's, let's do a Review!

LEVEL 1: Story
This is a good enough reason alone to play the game. The story is absolutely fantastic. You start off in a Orginazation named Avalanch, destroying Mako Reactors in hopes of keeping the Planet alive. Well, you're only doing it for Money. Aparentally... Your main Protagonist is Cloud Strife. One of my favorite things about this character is his development. He starts off as a cold, Non caring person. But he really grows within the storyline. Around the time you meet Aerith, is about the time Cloud begins to be more Light, and Caring. Brightened up. Great Character development. The Main Antagonist of the game is Sephiroth. He goes long ways with Cloud, and winds up summoning Meteor upon the Planet which will lead to the destruction of the earth. Sounds cliched, but that's because I'm leaving out all The "Meat" of the story, and just giving you a basic draft.

LEVEL 2: Presentation
Let's start off by saying that this was the BEST looking game for it's time. In fact, you've probably already heard this. But really, they were phenonamal. They still hold up to this day really. I mean, Go into battle in the game. The character model's look incredible! And all of the Pre-rendered backgrounds make the game look that more atmospheric! There's little to no glitches I've ran into. One of the things that's slightly weak is the translation. It's not too bad, but it can be pretty noticable when you wind up reading a line like "This Guy Are Sick".

LEVEL 3:
You know how this goes. The Main Combat system is your normal Turn Based RPG. But it has a lot of things to enchance it. Let's start off with the Limit Break. Once you take enough Damage you can pull off a "Special Move". All of these are pretty damn cool. Omnislash still being the most bad-ass of them all. Now it's magic system is probably my favorite of all Final Fantasy Games. You have Materia which you equip, and certain spells are within materia. The more you use it, the more the Materia Upgrades, the more damage the spell does. There's a limit to how much materia you can equip, and this varies between your Armor, and Weapon. So this adds a bit of strategy of who needs what in terms of Materia.

Ah, Now let's talk about the Chocobos. Now if you've played a Final Fantasy game before, you know what a Chocobo is. I'd say there most active within this game though. To capture these enourmous birds you must first have some Green Greens. Now you must run into the Chocobo tracks, until you find the elusive chocobo! Try to defeat all the enemies surrounding it! Than feed it Green Greens! Who knows, you might just get it. That is if it didn't run-away previously. And that concludes MinkNyu's How To Get a Chocobo Tutorial. You can also breed Chocobos and the higher the rank the chocobo (you can level it up by doing races, and just finding good ones in the wild), and the Higher quality the seed, you might just be able to breed one of the mysterious muli-colored chocobos. The only real reason there here is to get you some Certain materia, that just so happens to kick-ass. Night's of The Round being the first thing that comes to my mind.

Alright, need some Mini-games? Well guess what! FFVII Gots that too! There is a place within the game called Golden Saucer, where you can play Multiple Mini-games. This is Definitely one of the coolest places of the game. Let's start off with Chocobo Races! You race against other Chocobos. That's about it. But it's pretty sweet! Next thing I'm going to talk about is Speed Sqaure. It's basically a Rail-shooter.

Now there's also Battle-Sqaure! This is where you can really test your skills. It's the basic Combat in a normal battle, but it really puts you to a limit. And there's Ghost Sqaure which basically a Spooky haunted INN.

And best of all there's Wonder Sqaure! This is where the term Mini-game really comes to mind. There's Arm Restling, Boxing, Motorcycle chase, Snow-boarding, Moogle Feeding, Underwater Sumarines, Fortune teller, AND MORE!

LEVEL 4: Music and SFX

What can I say... the music is awesome. You have the really Up-beat Boss Music, and the Really Heart Warming music like Aerith's theme. It's also incredible! Nobuo Ueamatsu did a fantastic Job! Perfection! The SFX are also awesome! I mean, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to explain SFX, but all the ones in the game, sounds pretty good.

FINAL LEVEL: Overall Thoughts.
This game will always be my favorite, just do to the sheer fact of how much this game means to me. Absolutely everything about this game... It's perfect.
