My name is NESMan, this is my first Vizzed game review.  "Gran Turismo" was a game for the PlayStation game console, and was released by Sony Computer Inc, and Polyphony Digital on December 23, 1997.  It is the first of its franchise, is under the racing genre, and as the "Real Driving Simulator", it DID come before "Forza Motorsport".  You have 140 cars to choose from, ranging from Acura, Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Dodge, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, and the infamous British car company, TVR.  The 11 tracks (note this was back in 1997) are High Speed Ring, Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, Clubman Stage Route 5, Special Stage Route 5, Special Stage Route 11, Grand Valley East, Grand Valley Speedway, Autumn Ring, Autumn Ring Mini, and an oval-shaped Test Course.  Certain championships require certain licenses, "Gran Turismo (1)" only has three (they started making more when "Gran Turismo 2" was released in 1999).  These licenses include B License, A License, and the very challenging International A License.  Championships, also require certain car types, including region, drive train, models, and such.  The game's soundtrack, both Japanese, AND American versions, are a big plus this PS1 gem has.  You can also tune and upgrade your cars, as well as RACING MODIFICATIONS, this many being exclusive to GT1, is another plus.  Racing Modifications not only upgrade your performance, but most notably makes your car look like a race car with sponsors and vinyl's.  I think the only negative, or overlook that the game staff made was that the "Car Wash!!" in Simulation Mode, doesn't do much, if anything at all.

Nice review. Put some paragraphs in there to make it a bit more pleasant to read, but still, this is a solid review.
Anyway, awesome racing game. It's up there with Ridge Racer Type 4 for best racing games on the PSX.

Nice review, you could add separate sections and also put in more detail. But, good review for a newbie.

Try to add more detail to the core of the review, I believe you spent to many words listing cars and tracks.

Ok, this might sound harsh, but I believe it needs to be said. You spent much of this review talking and describing about the game, but very little on what you feel about the game. You write that it has a lot of cars, 11 stages, different licences, and extra features like tuning up your car. That's all nice and detailed information, but some of your readers are going to read this and ask this question: "So what?" Is it good? Is it bad? Is having 11 stages a good thing? Do you recommend me to play the game or not? How does the sound makes the game good or bad? How good are the modification features? These are questions that will be asked because people want to know what your opinions are about the game. Some people might depend on reviews to see if they want to play it or want to spend Viz in order to play it. To improve for your next review, I say you should be more bold and let your opinions out. Persuade us on whether this game is a good game or a bad game.
