Overall: This game is amazing and I truly enjoyed playing it. It is an excellent remake of the original fire red and it is much like the original Pokémon red game with the exception of a few things, you have islands 1,2 and 3 that you can visit. This game is just an example of a very good, sleek classic remake of an already great game with several new features added from the original fire red, I must say I had a great time playing this game because the quality of detail and material in the game that made it so much more enjoyable. This game is a very interesting, fun game that combines all of the great qualities of Pokémon red and pushes them all the way up to a whole new level.

Graphics- The graphics are as clear and sleek as they will ever get, they are very nice and the colors and detail sets up for a very realistic gaming experience. Also, they are quite a step up from Pokémon red's fuzzy looking pixel Pokémon, it is very clear and the detail is sharp and it is only the best you can expect out of a top notch Pokémon game. I scored the graphics a 10 out of 10 because of how crystal clear and high quality the graphics are in this game, very well done.

Sound- The sound is basically the same as in the red version. I think they should add a different sound track or make a completely new one from the basic one we have become used to. But it is very original and the quality of the sound itself is very good and the music Gamefreak used in all of its Pokémon games are like this, very basic and like your standard Pokémon game, so I scored them based on how original and how the quality of the music sounded, and I scored it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness: All Pokémon games in general are very addictive because of the amount of material you are able to do in the game. This game is addicting in particular because it is a remake of the original red, and it leaves you with newer features like enhanced graphics, and it is a very well made remake and it leaves you with hours of guaranteed fun and game play because of how well it was designed based upon fire red. All of the features are enhanced with sharper graphics, more clear sound and lots of extra stuff to keep new players interested. I spent hours training for gyms, the elite four, and searching for shiny Pokémon and coming up with good move sets and training them as close to their full potential in their best stat as I could. It has a lot of material to offer making it very addictive to all players thus earning a 10 out of 10 for addictiveness.

Story: The Pokémon storyline is always kept the same, and this game is nearly exact to the regular red version with the exception that it has the addition of the extra islands and it makes it a better remake but the creativity isn't really at its possible full potential, there is nothing overly special or unique about it that makes it stand out from other Pokémon games, the story is always the same starting off as a young trainer who ventures off and faces the elite 4 and becomes a champion of the region. It is very basic and stays consistent to all other Pokémon games. Being so I scored it an 8 out of 10 because it could've had greater potential.

Depth: The game has a lot to offer and the enhanced details of the Pokémon, the places, the scenery and landscape are very well put together. The game is more lengthy than the original because of the extra added content that keeps the game interesting while also presenting an interesting challenge as well. I beat the game in 7 days without skipping trainers and battles, this is a game that will keep you hooked and wanting to play it even more to see what lies ahead whether you are new to Pokémon or not, this game boasts hours of fun and keeps you interested and hooked to playing the game. For instance you can catch Mewtwo after you have beaten the elite 4 and you can catch articuno, moltres and zapdos as well making the game more extended and filled with extra stuff to do after and prior to the elite 4 and the end of the game. I scored the depth an 8 out of 10 because of how much content the game presents.

Difficulty: The game is not overly difficult to beat, you can basically beat most of the gyms and elite 4 with a good consistent well trained team, your Pokémon do not have to be level 100 to defeat the elite 4, and you don't have to stress over having super high leveled Pokémon if you have a balanced team. Anyone can pick up on Pokémon within playing it for only a few minutes, the game is fairly easy but also slightly challenging to keep you interested in playing as well. The game play itself is basically the same as it was in red version which was not hard at all, so I scored the difficulty a 6 out of 10.
