Wow I actually made it into the top five for red on accident? I didn't see that coming.

Basically pray75 has to grab every jersey from now to the end  to win but i believe he already quit .

Yeah, I've been working on a paper (it's not exactly going as well as I'd like), so I called it quits. I would have fought to the bitter end, but priorities have got to be taken care of first. I don't have class during the summer so you better believe I'm coming for that rainbow banner. Until then, iN008, enjoy your victory.

iN008 : Are you trash talking, son? Oh boy, I got half a mind to take you out back and put you in your place! You ain't never got a certified "Roll Tide" whoopin' before, have you?!

Lol. Nah, you know I had you on edge until I decided to stop. You looked like you were getting real desperate there. I bet you weren't expecting me to take green the other day! 45 posts in an hour is not good on your fingers, let me tell you! I wasn't even sure how you were hitting 40 until I got 45, and then I realized that your hands probably hurt every single day. I'll be honest, that played a factor in why I didn't continue, because I realized that if I had to spend an hour or two writing a big post, another hour posting 40+ meaningless posts, and then a few more hours at least matching whatever I posted for green and possibly pushing for blue, then I would have no time to get anything done. And this paper + presentation is worth at least 30%, if not more, of my class grade, and I'm already a bit behind in that class. So as much fun as it would have been to continue competing, it wouldn't have done me any good in the long haul. I decided that the summer will more than likely be my battlefield, unless I get like 3 jobs or something. lol.

Davideo7 : I have two questions about the competition that I'd like clarified. Say I post a 2000 word post and see that someone posts a 2100 word post right after that, should I be able to score more words for the TDV if I edit my post to be 2400 words? If it's supposed to happen, couldn't that lead into people just continuously editing posts? Fortunately, it doesn't work if I edit a post that I did, say, yesterday, but as far as I know now, it does work for posts posted the day of. I'm even going to test it to make sure I'm correct.

Second, if someone has an arsenal of writing at their disposal (say, I used to write a lot of stories and kept them throughout my years), or a stack of English papers that they decided to use towards earning the Red Jersey, is that actually legal? If it is, then I feel bad for all of you suckers (just kidding, I b.s. too many of my papers to ever want to expose them to the public). If it isn't and there is strong evidence of it (say, their formatting is obvious), how do we go about calling that, in case it slips the eyes of the TDV's judges?

These are just a couple of questions about the TDV that I think could help make the competition a bit more fair for next time. I really enjoyed this experience and think it's a pretty awesome way to connect the Vizzed community (literally, ingenious!), and I look forward for the summer's competition, especially because more people will be able to compete.

EDIT: I'm adding about 85 words to surpass thing1 for the red jersey in the Tour De Vizzed. Currently, it shows that I have 520 words (screen-capped it to prove it, if need be), and he's got 603. I'm going to be taking another screen cap if works, and I'll show it to you if you need proof. If it's not really something that matters, then you can disregard this and I'll just take some of the extra points. If it doesn't work... then I'm a bit confused about what happened the other night. Lol.

pray75 : No I'm not trash talking, and by the way I never found getting 40+ posts for the green jersey that hard, I am one of the fastest typers in my whole school and honestly I " internet " far to much for them to ever hurt.

As for the " stack of English papers " I do not think that is allowed because they are assigned for educational purposes.
As for stories I have no clue, I just made new ones during the course of the tour de vizzed.

And if they continuously edit the posts and it ends up to close to the reset time then they can get DQ'd just as posting a few minutes before the midnight passes.

Ohh as for the summer Tour De Vizzed, I will not be competing except for the rare red jersey since those are the only jerseys I lack as of the current moment.

pray75 : It does count if you edit your post within the same day it was posted but it's hard to detect if someone is cheating by doing that.

We've allowed it so far but we might cut down on that sort of thing eventually.

iN008 :   I was kidding about the trash talking thing... I forget you're not in America, and therefore aren't from the South, so our humor (or at least mine, which is an exaggerated version of Southern humor) might not make sense. Heck, mine can be so exaggerated that some of my friends don't get it.

M'hm... The biggest struggle for me with the green jersey is fighting with my internet. I think we had the cable company (who provides our internet) come out and fix it earlier last week, because I went from having spotty internet to one with a decent consistency, so I was able to post a lot faster than usual.

We'll see what Davideo7 has to say about everything else. I hope you do compete for the rainbow next time, because you made this a whole lot more fun once I got close. I'm kind of excited compete from the beginning next time around, because everybody will be in it from the start. I bet there's a ton of chaos.
