Uhhh, I guess that would make me weird, then. On my first game on Platinum, Crobat was one of my most frequently used Pokemon until about the eighth gym. As for most hated, it would be Wobuffet. They can't attack until the opponent attacks first! At least Magikarp evolves into Gyrados (lvl 100 gyrados FTW!!!).

Magicarp is, of course, useless. But there are others. Pidgey's line is worse than that of Spearow's (Well, Pidgey takes hits a little better, but Fearow has Drill Peck and more attack), and since you always get them within a route or two of each other, Pidgey counts. Sunkern has worse stats than Magicarp even, and evolves into a pokemon with a good Special Attack, and nothing else.

But even Magicarp can kill things with Bounce and Flail. The true worst pokemon is Unown. I mean, look at the name! Un-own. It is the opisite of owning. It learns 1 attack (well, I guess if you could only learn 1 attack, it would want to be Hidden Power), is slow, hits poorly, and cannot take hits. Un own indeed.
