The new trust point system seems great. I think the "You can lose points for positively rating someone who loses points" -rule is a good solution for making the right users, who deserve trust points, getting them. Good job!

Davideo7 : Thanks a lot David. This will work out better surely. It kind of annoyed me that people would actually try to take advantage of the trust system.
However, one thing I would contradict on giving a trust point to someone and a site staff taking a trust point away from that person, is the idea of not knowing whether this person is trustable or not. Even if we did think twice about it, what if we only saw a side of them that looked like they were a golden angel on Vizzed.com and followed all the rules accordingly, but then in another forum, they just happened to unleash their wrath and mess around on the forums, but we have no clue the person is doing that. It is kinda difficult to know for sure in that occasion, but then again, I don't think anything like that would happen...hopefully.

Actually, I'm a little curious now as to where the trust points will appear also. I never concerned myself with being a trusted member much, but, now I'm curious to see where the number does appear, haha. Stylized posts do look nice, but I get confused in the steps to make one.

So we finally got the new trust point system in place? Awesome. I was wondering why my profile said 0.0 It was weird. Anyways, thank you David. Now, I can really start over. Hopefully, I can get my forum soon. We will just have to wait and see.

GuardianZack : You can't rate yourself lol. Everyone else who is a Trusted Member can rate you. To rate someone else, you just go to their profile and click the 'Rate User' link. If you would've read my post, you would've found your answer:

"How do you give someone Trust Points?
By going to their profile and clicking the 'Rate User' link. "

The "Rate User" option is still crossed out to me, is this normal for the time being? If so, when will it be uncrossed?

Davideo7 : No, that's not what I am saying. I read that already, and I know I can't rate myself, but everyone else's pages have it etched out, also.

Davideo7 : Well it's still etched out for me. And with the old one, you could go to rate yourself, so it's not just on your own profile.

The new trust points system is finally on. That's a good thing honestly. And that's why I saw in my profile that my decent amount of trust points has changed too ha ha

It's alright, I'm fine with that. Now, it's going to be fair. New system, new rules, yeah

So did you decide yet if you will get a notification once you get a trust point, or who from, and how many?

I did my part. I rated three of the people I found most deserving, and am reserving the rest for anything that might happen.

I'm still a little skeptical... but thats me, I'm always skeptic until something is proven

Davideo7: I didn't know what the last TP system was like so I wouldn't know to say if it was bad or good but judging by what you and other people have said it sounds like the last TP system was bad. But this system looks pretty solid. I say this because I have read a lot of books on loopholes in contracts and stuff like that and this system looks like it doesn't have any loopholes. The thing I like about it is the rule about losing trust points if someone you rate is losing trust points. It seems to me that would make a lot of people think twice about who they rate. Overall I think this is a good system and it seems you put days of thought into this. So good thinking and hope this system works.

I noticed that several users around here are already at like 30 TP. Hopefully people are taking to heart the changes that are needed in how they are giving them out to heart.
