We all know Jackie Chan. He kicks total butt. He was a great martial artist.... and an awesome video game character! I thought this would be some junkie side scroller with some crappy fighting moves. How wrong I was. I will begin with what the game offers. Of course in a game like this, you would have the traditional Jump kicks, Duck kicks, Punch and so on. Buuuuuuuut in a game like this, you can acquire 3 special moves. Only thing annoying me is that I can`t figure out how to do them!! Oh, one more move.... the Supersonic. It`s basically a Hadouken.... but BETTER!! Like, man! That move will kill any normal enemy in one single hit. Even the tigers! This game also has a lot of bonus games where you can regain your Supersonic move, health and an extra Head.... which I am assuming (or hoping) is an extra life. This game is packed with different enemies and stage types. And it`s DAMN good.  

This game will slap you in the face and force you to pay attention to every single thing happening on the screen. This game is very hard, and I can`t get past that damn running stage!  Well, I am not the BEST gamer ever, but I am not going to brag. I think I am way above the line between Utter Failure and The Gawd O` Gaming. Yet the game knocked me down and gave me 5 extra continues. That is actually pretty generous on top of your big health bar. I haven`t played this game many times YET. So I am hoping to get better and tell that  running stage to hail to the king, baby. 

Speaking of playing this game many times, that is exactly what I am going to do! This game seems pretty addictive because of the fun game play, climatic moments and to see just what the heck is going to be next! The stage layouts are very unique and have cool secrets scattered all over the place. So yes, this is addictive. 

So you are all probably thinking about why the hell I chose such a stupid title for this review. Well Jimmy, that`s because you gotta rescue her. I am giving a 4 for the story line, because it`s nothing special. It`s generic, but hey, who really gives a damnÉ Why can`t I make question marksÉ Holy crap stop it!!! 

The music in this game is just divine! I`m mostly talking about the running stages, but they are all nice to listen to. Defiantly something I would put on an MP 3. The themes in this game are just pure adrenaline, motivating and inspiring you. I also bust out some phat dance moves to em. The graphics are impressing for the time. Jackie Chan looks pretty funny, like a cartoon. But this was Jackie merchandise being sold to kids. So that makes sense. The main thing I am focused on when it comes to graphics is what I can identify. The background is clear (Way better then The Terminator) and the enemies, too. The graphics don`t mess it up, but some enemies are just flat out UNIDENTIFIABLE. I've played this game two or 3 times, and it's really great... One of the best platformers of the NES. What to expect from Hudson Soft (the company that made game), one of the best developers of the console?
