ROCKYROCKEST : Good idea with the skill swap thing (genius!)

Anyway my favorite pokemon in general would have to be either Umbreon or Lucario. I like Lucario because it has an appearance that is quite well designed and it is a very rare and powerful pokemon. I like Umbreon because it was what my first ever Eevee evolved into, it has the best design (in my opinion) of all pokemon and Umbreon is a Defensive based pokemon, high base special and normal defence stats plus it has an immunity to the all too common psychic type moves (due to most legendaries being part psychic).

As far as battling goes I am gonna say Mew, Mewtwo and Genesect. Mew because it learns Baton Pass (passes on any stat changes to another pokemon while switching out) along with Barrier (sharply raises def.), Amnesia (sharply raises special def.), Nasty Plot (sharply raises special attk.) and because it can learn both Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere (which can get a neutral hit on pretty much any pokemon). I like Mewtwo and Genesect for the same reason, high stat totals with special attack and speed being two of the highest.

Overall, I would have to say my favorite is Umbreon.

Latios, I've been transferring my modest one from ruby, to emerald, fire red, diamond, pearl, platinum, heart gold, black, and finally black 2. To say it's my favorite hardly does it justice, I always get this heart warming feeling whenever I send him out. His capture was admittedly done with a master ball, but it has been by far the best use of one I've ever made. No other Pokémon has matched its worth, and I've played every single generation, and owned every single Pokémon at one time or another. Another great thing is the fact that I can use it in any competition, battle tower, etc. His moves are Dragon pulse, psychic, draco meteor and recover, and he can levitate to ignore all those pesky earthquakes... I think he has about 13 ribbons or so from various Pokémon leagues, friendship rewards, etc. For most Pokémon they don't really matter much, but when I look at his it makes for a good stroll down memory lane.

Well, I gotta go with Lucario. I'm more of the fighting type Pokémon kind of guy

My favorite Pokémon... Hmm, this is hard. If I had to go for just one... Right now, it's kind of a tie between Eevee, Ninetales, Lucario and Lugia, as those are the four which I like the most. Zoroark comes in as a close fifth, though.

aipom all the way! Just because he is what I have envisioned monkeys who love to throw poop to eventually evolve to.

Any fire type Pokémon, they make those annoying bug trainers easier, but if I had to name one, it would be Charizard. He has so many good moves, good stats. But also like all of the old school Pokémon, the first 151.

My favorite would have to be Dragonite because he was my first Dragon-type Pokémon (Dragon-type Pokémon are now my favorite type thanks to Dragonite) and admired his role in Pokémon the first movie, not to mention he is one of the strongest non-legendary Pokémon in the game (In my Opinion) and my very first Pokémon TCG deck was based on him (homemade deck) and it never lost until I was no longer allowed to use the deck (Original TCG cards are banned) and he was also my first shiny Pokémon (technically Dratini, but whatever) so anyways, that's why Dragonite is my favorite Pokémon.  

Charizard for me. I grew up playing with that amazing guy on Pokemon Red.

To be honest, I favor Darkrai. . . But I like Charizard too.

Mine is Arcanine.

My favorite Pokémon is Lugia, followed by Gyarados and Onix.

iop50 : My favorite Pokémon is Lotad and his evolutions because Lotad is a lily pad, Lombre is a lily pad too, and Ludicolo is a maraca wielding Mexican Pokémon. How awesome is that.
