Hmm kinda a weird thread to compare 3 light hearted comedies to a more action packed cartoon.

That would be like if I made a thread comparing Family Guy and American Dad to Dragon Ball Z. lol

Honestly all three shows you listed are good for kids cartoons. If I had to choose one I would probably choose Sponge Bob. I probably have gotten the most enjoyment out of that show. During about the 3rd season of Spongebob it got pretty dang funny. (Now it's grown stale IMO)

Avatar is my favorite and it s the only one with a consistent storyline in which I could follow when I was 9 and now when I'm even 15. Avatar is in my opinion one of the best shows ever to exist but it's just an opinion.

I picked Spongebob, because it was one of the best shows Nick had to offer, until after the movie, anyways. But before that, the show had tons of stuff, from video games to clothing, it was as if Spongebob was nick's unofficial mascot. While people think that Spongebob is a Show designed for kids, well, it is. For the most part.
The older spongebob episodes actually had violent scenes and adult humor that were obviously cut. Heck, a few of the new episodes have a few of these scenes.
 
The Fairly Oddparents was ok when it started, but now its just a bunch of overused, unfunny jokes, that all center around stupidity, and subjects of the sort.

I like the Avatar Series, it was consistently well,  and it KNOWS when to end, but the show, in my opinion, was nothing special.

Spongebob Squarepants, definitely for me. Airbender is annoying, Fairly Odd Parents is funny but stupid. Spongebob is stupid too, but there's these moments that catch me with surprising hilarity and oddly adult humor that probably flies right over most kids heads.

Avatar has an awesome plot that actually progresses, it has action that isn't too violent for kids, and has lessons of good virtues.
