Yeah, usually the hospital sucks. It really depends on how long I have to wait in the E.R. though. If it were up to me, I would just go to a clinic. They are much faster. But the E.R. does better work... It's up in the air... it really depends on how bad I am feeling.

The longest I was in the hospital was for a week for surgery. It was not fun, even though the place was pretty. I was in a children's hospital. The nurses were not good. The same day a doctor came in and touched my scar which really hurt me and I found out there was no reason for him to do that. So my experience was not good at all.

I can't stand hospitals, there's no more of a terrible idea than bringing a thousand people with different ailments, almost all contagious, into the same building.

The longest i have bean in the hospital was 7 hours because i stepped on a nail and i had to wait 6 hours because it was in the middle of summer but all the doctors were nice and there was another kid in the waiting room so we traded Pokémon cards and watched the Pokémon cartoon

You mentioned that you think hospitals suck because they are money oriented. But really, it isn't the hospital's fault. If you want to hate anything, hate the insurance companies who caused prices to skyrocket in the first place. Insurance companies pretty much bought off many members of a certain past presidential party about 10 years ago (as well as quite a large portion of Congress), which resulted in insurance being the highest force behind why prices are so freaking high. In countries with Universal Health care pay very little to go to the doctor (many things actually don't cost the person who goes anything). Sure, they must have higher taxes to make that possible, but who cares. If we had a Universal Health Care System, the increase in taxes would be less than what the average person pays their Insurance Company already.

I think hospitals are helpful and all they ever really try to do is keep you rested and try to make you feel better and not feel the pain you are in. The last time I was at a hospital was when I was 7 or 8 or so when I broke my arm and I really wasn't there for very long. Hospitals can be sucky because they can take forever to finally get back to you and  check up on you with how you are feeling because they have 1,000 other patients to deal with and the wait if you have an injury can take forever before they will actually see you, so in some aspects hospitals can be slow and annoying but the it is not really the nurses and doctor's fault because if anything they show concern for your injuries and they will try to do anything to make you feel better again. I can't really say I hate the doctors even though I am not fond or happy whenever I go there which hasn't been for a long time, but I can understand someone else's point they're trying to make when they say that going to the hospital sucks, believe me no one likes going there but it is for the best if you want to feel better.
