This game is one of those air combat simulators that I have a love hate relationship with. Top Gun is actually fun though. Enjoy the rest of this review.

GAMEPLAY C+: At least this game is fun, most air combat simulators try to be realistic but bore me to death. Top Gun is fun though, its satisfying to destroy the airplanes coming into your face and soon you will find this game quite fun. There are a few problems that keep the gameplay from being at least B material. First off the landing sequences. God I HATE those! When its time to land, you have to be PERFECT. In order to land and your radar helps you land but it get's annoying after a while, left right, up!! up!!, speed up, speed down. Its all over the place. Then you have times where you have to refuel. Its not as repetitive but its still overwhelmingly frustrating.

GRAPHICS B: The game has that first person perspective that is common in many air combat simulators. Even though the ground is quite plain, its still fairly realistic.

SOUND D+: I don't want to be harsh here but the sound is primitive and there's only a few sounds in the game.

ADDICTIVENESS C: This game is fun but not quite addicting. I got bored quickly and I really did not want to beat the game.

DEPTH F: There's only 4 missions, so you would have gotten much for you buck and these missions are all generally the same thing with different targets to destroy. 

DIFFICULTY MEDIUM EASY:  The game is somewhat easy, the difficulty rises quite well. The main thing that's difficult is landing your freaking plane.
