After playing that terrible winter games for the NES, I decided to see if there is a good Olympic sport based game. I found Track and Field and I would switch from winter games to this game in a heart beat.

GAMEPLAY B+: I'm sure a lot of people will remember the button tapping gameplay that actually does not drive you insane. I actually feels more real as you tap those buttons as fast as possible. This kind of gameplay is seen in games today like Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games, but you shake the Wii remote to run instead of breaking your fingers by tapping the buttons like a savage. Still it's quite fun and challenging and I really like the style of gameplay.

GRAPHICS C: The graphics are pretty basic for an NES game but they are break up free which is a great thing. The bad side about them is the detail in the character design. The person you play looks like hes wearing underwear instead of shorts. Even so the graphics are fairly good.

SOUND A-: Despite the lack of music, the sound effects are extremely realistic sounding. Quite impressive for the time.

ADDICTIVENESS B: I would play this with a friend or someone because it will probably get pretty competitive. Playing by yourself is okay but the main thing you would want to do is to beat your records in the game.

DEPTH A-: There is 8 unique events that have quite a bit of variety from races to jumping events to skeet shooting. There's quite a bit of fun to be had.

DIFFICULTY MEDIUM HARD: It all depends on you thumbs or fingers. They need to be strong to easily play this game. Some of the events are easy some of them are hard it just depends on your reference.

I like your review because it so detail as it can be and I agree I would play this game more than the winter games. Also this game use to give me so much pain as a little kid.
