Well that went better than expected. I gave Team V a run for his money and he came from under me with a win. By 3 points. If I had Locker instead of Ponder for my QB I would have won by 1 point. Lol, what a season.

There's a consolation playoffs where all the losers compete to see who's the best of the teams that missed out on the playoffs. It helps keep things fun.

Davideo7 : I guess this year wasn't your year lol. And is there any way we can do a live draft next season rather than an auto draft? I undertsand that finding a good time for everyone will be difficult but like skeletor said I want my team to be because of my picks. SAome of th eplayers I were given aren't necessarily the players I wanted, looking back at the draft results. I would rather have drafted RG3 over Eric Decker or Chicago over Aaron Hernandez (of course I wouldn't have known about injuries at the time). I just feel that a live draft would be better.

It'd be really hard to pull off a live draft. We'd have to set aside probably 2-3 months for it because some users might take a day or more for a single pick. But we'll see. My first Fantasy Football League was a live draft (it was a work league) and it was a lot of fun and it definitely adds a ton more strategy to fantasy football. With a live draft, the chances of getting screwed over like I did are far lesser.

Davideo7 : Another suggestion. Can we make it trusted+? I know that this might be a very bad idea because it may cause less people to sign up but I was thinking that this way everyone would be more active and compete. I mean at least 7 of the people don't look at the league anymore, and those 7 are the ones who didn't make it, if I'm correct. These are just suggestions and you don't have to do them but i just thought these would improve the league.

megamanmaniac : Well some of the users who competed this year that did participate aren't trusted so I'm assuming you'd be fine with allowing them to come back, right? I think I'm fine with the Trusted+ idea.

Davideo7 : If they were active and still use the site when the next one comes than I see no problem with letting them come back.

megamanmaniac : Maybe even making an entry fee might eliminate people from signing up who might not take it seriously.

Davideo7 : An entry fee wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe 5000-10000 Viz. That way, if people wanted to join and didn't have enough viz, they would be encouraged to post more to get the Viz.

megamanmaniac : Plus people would take it more seriously if they had to spend a lot of their Viz to join.

Davideo7 : I just have one more suggestion. I think you should kick any team who doesn't announce who they are before the draft as to avoid teams like Raveniz going inactive at the beginning of the season without us knowing who they are.

Well I really tried to make the playoffs. Had blowouts in the last two weeks and scored a ton of points. 5 wins in a row and an 8-5 record. Sucks to not make the playoffs, but it's not for a lack of effort. Hell, me and LionHearted had more total points than a few of the top ranked teams.

As far as the league goes. A live draft would be the way to go. Live drafts have 2-3 min time limits(For each Pic). People have to be there, or pre-rank their team just like they do already. So it's not like they are missing out on much.

I also agree that there should be a Viz buy in to allow for people that are active. We had 4 teams out of 20 that didn't play their teams correctly. Hell 1 or 2 of them didn't play their stuff right since week 1.

Also I would like the scoring to be adjusted for QB interceptions and Sacks. It's crazy that a guy can throw multiple interceptions and still have a high score in our league. Interceptions should be more than -1 point and sacks against I feel should be added as well. Maybe -1 point.

I agree with Jordan. I say -3 for interceptions. I mean it would balance out 4 for a touchdown and I agree that there should be -1 for sacks. Also, I think,  the return touchdowns should be worth 8 rather than 6 because a defense usually has to work pretty hard to score a return TD and should deserve a couple more points from it.

Interceptions are happening more and more frequently, which lowers the points taken. -1or -2 seems about right for every league I have been in. Touch downs are 6 like they always have been. Defensive touchdowns should be the same, since once again they are happening more and more frequently almost as much as normal touchdowns. Been doing fantasy football/basketball for several years now.

The inactive people or someone that goes inactive, I think the league manager should be able to alter their roster based on the input of the other players (not the team that is versing the current inactive). It makes it fair if someone is only inactive for a week or 2.

Live draft should be what should happen next year. You feel less screwed over with live than auto. We all can say we would of drafted another player or not but that's not the case. It more of picking your own players so if you get screwed its your own fault.

A Viz price should be set ahead of time, also the Viz that is taken should be divided up for the top 3 players. Makes the Viz won even better than it is now Especially if its 10k Viz.

But that's just my 2 cents

I know I said this already but a charge to play would be a good idea.. I just don't think I will enter next year... Especially if there is a live draft... 

You all talk about how players are great against other teams and etc... We get little to zero coverage in England and let's face it I'd pick the wrong people and get destroyed every week... 

Maybe if next year your desperate for players I will join.. But for the sake of making the league close I don't think I will.

I think the points are fine as is honestly. For the most part it's pretty clear who will score points. Changing it up wouldn't be the worst thing but I feel like it's changes for the sake of changes.

So I am in the playoffs... ugh. Didn't want the 3rd seed. It's a much much tougher road. Oh well. I'll settle for being one of the 6 best a second year in a row.
