If you want a good long one Star Ocean for SNES is a great game! I think it's the longest most detailed SNES game made. It came out right before the Playstation 1 came out.

Also Summoner Saga Sword Craft Story 2 is a great game for the GBA but it's action not turn based.

Try out Deus Ex, 1 2 or 3. They're not on the retro game room, but they're for PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, Ps2. It's a first person shooter and rpg hybrid. Really cool you've gotta check it out.
