I want to apply for either the Gameplay Video Recorder or the Walkthrough writer. I'm currently working on a Mega Man walkthrough and I think I'm going to record a playthrough of Mega Man soon. Unfortunately my walkthrough was erased when my computer shut off on me so that wasted about 3-4 hours of my life. Oh well. I'm hoping to get at least one of these two jobs.

At least, you still have hope, that's a good thing. I don't know if you will have enough time to make a walkthrough (unless it's a short game that you can beat quickly and easily) but a video of any game we can find here, that is perfectly possible

   Well I was just trying to represent myself as capable for the task but in understand that proof is necessary.  Although I'm a bit confused on how I am supposed to present an Article to the Board when there's not been given an assignment to write.  Maybe a little direction from the staff to help guide me in the right direction? Anyway I would ask to be given an idea on article the staff might be interested in and then I might use that as a prerequisite for employment?  Otherwise I wouldn't know where to start.  Hopefully this is coming across tactfully as I am certainly not trying to be abrasive in response to the staff's concerns.

dumptruck : In the FIRST post of this thread, the owner lists what you have to do to become an article writer. In your case, you need to submit two articles about ANYTHING interesting about gaming. If you were to look at other articles you would see what you have to do (Check the Video Game Articles forum to see any examples). Also, I may be wrong, but I believe you only have a week or so (maybe less) to do this.

I've decided to go for the Gameplay Recorder job. I'm sorry laian but the walk through was taking too long and giving me many headaches. I've recorded me downloading the RGR Plugin and will soon start recording walkthroughs of Mega Man. Check me out on you tube. My user name and/or channel (I'm not sure which one it is) is bossdonmega. I'm uploading the video now.
