Regarding my application ,I noticed I forgot to post the two reviews needed to apply for the Game Reviewer Job so here they are. First up is my review for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is, by far, one of my favorite games. I have loved every MD series game that has been released (not that theirs been very many). They always have amazing story lines, great depth, and just plain awesome. Anyone who likes Good story's and games that offer a lot, even after you beat the game, this is the game for you! Graphics: 7 There's pretty decent animation in this game. It's about as good as its going to get for that time period. What do you expect, HD? Sound: 10 Sound, why should sound matter? I don't hardly ever listen to the sound. Even when I play games on my DS, I listen to music instead of the game sounds (wish you can do that on vizzed X[ ) So ill just give it a 10, because I DID listen to the sounds when I was younger. Addictive: 10 My god, this game. This game, this game, THIS GAME!! I have restarted this game, and the others, several, times! I can't get enough of this game! This is the kind of game that just doesn't get old! One of the best memories I have as a child is getting excited about going to Toys R Us to FINNALY pick up a copy of this epic game! Story: 10 If your looking for a good story, this is the game for you! This game has the best story of any Pokémon game ever! It doesn't have cheesy lines about friendship and caring for your Pokémon. It's much more developed. This game will make you cry. Make you laugh. Make you smile. I promise, this game will keep you on the edge of your seat. Depth: 10 If the main story isn't enough, you've got the Post story! The story is pretty long itself, then you get into the fun part. Many things will be unlocked, accessible, etc., so when the credits roll, don't frown! There's still a bunch more to the game! Loads more quests, battling techniques, and loads, loads, and loads more! Difficulty: 5 All games have a certain level of difficulty. All games have super hard parts where you just want to quit,and super easy parts where you can just breeze through. So, expect annoying, frustrating, "wanting to throw your computer, ds, tablet, etc. across the room" moments. There has to be. Why? It's so the game doesn't get old and dried up. Some people might just stop playing if you just breeze right through. Then it's no fun! BUT a super hard game where you get stuck every five seconds isn't fun either. You have to find that PERFECT balance, and this game definitely has it. Wrapping things up: If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a MAJOR fan of the Mystery Dungeon games, bit more specifically, I'm a fan of this one game, Red rescue team. I am currently doing a play through of it, and am still excited and thrilled like I was when I first started playing the game. So please, Enjoy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now, my review for Pokémon Pinball: R&S
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow, this game, this game. I remember back in the day I played the original Pokémon Pinball. You remember? You had to put a battery in the back of the game for it to rumble? Yup, that was a great game. Anyway, I see I'm trailing off topic a little. Pokémon Pinball R&S is a great, fun, interesting spin on the normal Pokémon games. You can't just do the same old thing, right? Though I find this game slightly hard to control, that doesn't keep me from playing this, somewhat classic, of a game. Now onto the ratings! Graphics: 8- There are some nice animations in the game, which I enjoy very much. And the details on some of the legends are pretty nice. The graphics are just pretty typical for a game of this era, is all I have to say Sound: 8- And we are back to the least effective part of the review. Is someone seriously going to consider not playing the game because of the sound? Anyway (sorry about that) the sound is pretty nice, everything you bump into give a nice little sound effect, gives off a little dazzling effect like a regular pinball machine. Addictive: 7- This game will hardly get stale. Always new Pokémon to catch, two different styles of gameplay, and all sorts of features will keep you playing on until you reach the very end! Story: 4- Come on, its a Pinball game! What do you expect? The magical fairy getting her Pinball stolen by the evil team of Witches and such? In short, this game has pretty much no story, besides the fact you have to catch 200+ Pokémon. I guess that's a story? Depth: 10- There is so much to the game. Many levels, minigames, 200+ Pokémon to capture, and more, gives you hours on end of amazing game play. But there is an end, like almost every game. But, you can still play on, but your not really going for anything except for a high score increase, maybe? Difficulty: 5- I find it hard to change all the controls to my taste. I cannot find out how to change the L+R triggers to my taste, either. Any time I change them, its still the same button you have to press. Because the L and R button are on opposite sides of the keyboard, I have to physically turn my keyboard around so I press them correctly. But other then that, its not too difficult of a game. Some of the minigames of legendary catching is a little difficult, but they are easy to accomplish once you get the hang of it. Wrapping things up: The game is a great spin from the original Pokémon Pinball, and the Gaming franchise itself. Loads of gameplay, countless things to do, and an expanded "pokedex" allow hours and hours of amazing fun for any gamer who's looking for a new way to enjoy the Pokémon franchise! I really hope that you enjoyed my review of Pokémon Pinball, R&S, and I hope that you read my other reviews! Until next time, Buh-bye!
