Hang On was a SEGA arcade game that got ported onto the Master System and the Genesis the one I'm going to review is the Master System port. Lets take a look shall we.

When you start the game you'll see a guy in a motorcycle. Your goal is to get to the checkpoint and move on with the next part of the course. Pretty simple right? But
there's a few obstacles that keep you from getting to the checkpoint. Sharp turns which are surprisingly quite challenging to get through, off road obstacles which are on both edges of the road, time which gets extended every time you reach the check point, and finally other riders.

The games graphics are great the "simulated 3D" looks good the courses have their own look and feel and the riders look great. There's just one thing I have to pick on and that is that is the fact that the CPU drivers look more detailed than your character.

The sound is good but a few sound effects sound awkward like when your motorcycle runs into something and explodes. Other then that, the sound is great.

This game is extremely addicting even when I got far and didn't make it to the checkpoint in time I wanted to go again, and again, and again.

This game really doesn't have much to offer but it does have 8 courses, and each course takes a long time to complete so I gave the depth a

Hang On is quite hard to play at first, but with a few trys you'll get the hang of it. The curves will always be quite hard to master and beating the first course seems like quite a feat.

I really suck at this game I can't even get past the first level. At first I never even noticed you could change your speed. So I would just go really slow then run out of time.

Never really played the game, but it does look pretty good for a gamegear game. I might try it out sometime
