I wouldn't say my name is funny, but it is a little amusing.

My students call me Mrs. Singell.  My last name is pronounced 'single', but I'm very happily married.  My students tend to call me MISS Singell, but I don't mind.

I usually tell them I got married to stay Singell, but the joke seems to fly right over their heads.

I have not really had many teachers with funny names but I did have one at secondary called Mr chagger which is not that funny in its self but it is when they always sing moves like jagger before he starts a lesson and another one of the guest speakers was called terry bull as in terrible

Okay I have two, I have my math teacher for geometry, and his name is Mr. Siegelman which I think is funny, he is the baseball coach and he also is very funny and sarcastic about a lot of things, but he is a good teacher. Also there is a teacher, I am not sure what he teaches, but I don't have him, his name is Mr. Barnaba the swimming coach, he seems like a nice guy. I think these names are kind of funny, and it seems like all of the teachers with a funny name are a coach of something.
