Overall: The variety of power-ups will keep you busy in this sequel to Super Bonk. The many powers are fun and not a hassle. It would have done moderately well if it was released over-shores, but it may not happen. Level design is shortened, but unlike Super-Bonk, there isn't one level per stage. Boss battles become easier if you collect the boss items scattered throughout the worlds.
Story: Don't waste your time with this poorly translated story. The only phrases you will miss is "I'm gonna get that bonk" or "he is invading our turf, get him/her" (because of pink-meat power-up LoL). * Not Exact Phrases*
Sound: Addictive, but not ground-breaking and some music is re-used too often. As for sound-effects, they are similar to what you would expect in any bonk title.
Graphics: Since it was released late in this system's life, the graphics are really breath-taking and could possibly come-close to even Kirby's Dream land 3. However it is close to becoming perfect, because the characters are very small and awkward to get used to.
Difficulty: The most important reason you read this review. Ah-em! For expert players it is some-what of a challenge, but i would recommend it to player's that have some gaming experience. Though it takes skill to find hidden boss items and other treasures, you have to be amazing to collect everything, because some items are next-to-nothing to collect!
Depth: This game offers a very intellectual fifth console entry in the bonk series, there probably won't be a sixth so enjoy this game that many have not yet heard about! I have played up to the second boss and well five-six(?) world's are enough to satisfy a craving for a decent plat former. Why is it not an 8.0 you ask? Jeez... this game may have an options menu to change the way you want to play and an alright introduction, but the mini-games are chosen by a wheel and they are perhaps impassable to achieve a perfect score for some of them. Turbo bonking (pressing the bonk and jump button simultaneously) is difficult to do to reach higher platforms.
Conclusion: Yes..there are small issues you may have to deal with but behind that barrier is an above-average plat former! After all, what is perfect?
That's ALL FOLKS! My First Review!
