Oh crap, THIS game. The Three Stooges on NES. I honestley don't know about this game. it's not really bad, but it's not good either. This is actually a port of a game on the C64. That game was okay, it had nice graphics, and it had decent voice acting. Now, usually I'm NEVER right about this, but because it's on a more powerful system, it should be better, right?

     --- I can't tell what's going on. ---
This game starts out with the Three Stooges walking out in front of a predicted Ghostbusters II title screen. I guess the makers knew how bad the first game was, so they made it the sequel instead. All of them start talking, but the second one bothers me, because they cut out the end of the last word. I guess it's kind if useless for me to talk about that, because voice acting isn't common on NES, so I guess I should like the fact they included it. Now, for each Day, you get a different job. You get to randomly select the job, and on Day 1, I got selected a job as a waiter. I have to throw pie at the customers, and I have to "look professonal" and not get pie on my face... or should that be faces because I'm playing as 3 characters? Never mind. Playing as all 3 is hard, because I'm not exactly sure how to switch from one to the next. I'm guessing it does it automattically, or I have to rock the D-pad around. Why not just have "A" for the first, "B" for the second, and "Select" for the third?

--- This game couldn't be more random. ---
On Day 2, I picked a card that said Trivia, and I have to answer a bunch of questions that probably have something to do with the show, but again, I haven't watched it. On Day 3, I picked 1 ?... and the day's over. It seems that the ? means random, because I picked $ symbol on Day 5, and it did the same thing. On Day 6, I got a "Doctor" card. Here, a keep picking up the Red Cross sign, and every time I get $5 dollars. I don't know why the Three Stooges need money, which is the main goal of the game. On Day 7, I got a in a contest for... eating crackers. The effect on this Stooge's arm is really glitchy, and I don't understand the little brown Piranha Plants. I keep getting the musetraps, and I guess I ran out of lives, because somebody's saying that $1965 isn't enough for the orphanage, and then I get a blank screen that says "End". That's it. All of those poor, innocent children are going to have to live on streets, use thier clothes for shelter, live behind the nearest Walgreens, hold a sign that says "I will work for FOOD", starve to death, and not even get a proper burial or a funeral, instead, they would get buried under the snow. Days would turn into weeks, then months, then years before they found out what happened to the innocent child. In other words, it's depressing.

--- A letter from the boss... days... Pikmin? ---

In my last review, Winter Games, I talked about how controls ruin games. This is one of them. But, this wasn't just controls, it was the whole concept for a TV-based game to be made that was bad. I guess I'll see you in my next review.
