How often do you entertain yourself with non-electronics?

About how much time do you speed in a week having fun WITHOUT the use of electronics? By "entertainment" I DO mean getting away from things like texting or talking on the phone, using your iPod, playing video games, watching TV/DVDs, etc. What I DO NOT mean is having the device unused in your pocket "just in case" or doing something like homework on the computer (unless you consider that fun!)
Practically never. How can you entertain yourself with electronics?

There is a saying that mankind has become a slave to technology. This is true in many ways of business. In modern times, shutting off technology would collapse even the way that food is mass produced causing havoc. However, this is not sure of entertainment. The ability outdoors and spending face-to-face time with friends just hanging out will always exist.

The question in the poll is, how much time do you spend doing things like that? You turn off the TV, put away the cell phone, leave the iPod at home, and do something like going out "exploring," playing board games or card games with a real deck of cards instead of a computer, reading, or just hanging out chatting with friends face-to-face.

Being someone of a multitude of interests, when I am not working, I spend at least two to three hours a day doing a variety of things away for everything electronic like origami, writing, or even meditating.

(I asked this question a few months ago on another forum and was surprised by the results. I must note, however, that the poll is being asked of people currently using the computer on a site for playing games. Those who would spend almost no time playing electronic games wouldn't be visiting this forum here in the first place.)

I have a 4 year old and we do play with her toys like barbie dolls.  Or we play catch with a ball.  If the weather is good we go out and run around the pond.  I do make notes in my note book for my story and do some sketches of my characters.  Most the time though I am cleaning the house.

I usually entertain myself with books.

I haven't really read any books lately, because I've been really enthrawled with a really interesting ball of string.
