WOW, I am definitely shocked. I know I wouldn't let me niece, let alone my daughter dance like that. And I agree with AuraBlaze, most of the time these kids don't want to do those pageants or dance competitions but their mothers force them to. I don't think using your child to live out your dream is the way to go. They may be little but they're people too.

Courage is not having the strength to go on, it's going on when you don't have the strength. ????

Well as sad as it is this is how are new generation is. Kids are grown up to fast. Back in the day we thought it was cute when a kid did something only a grown up would do. Now that its a couple years later and every child is trying to grow up its ridiculous. That's not the only void I seen of kids doing very grown up things. You tube has it all from booty shaking to strip teasing to kids showing how to steal a car. Don't even talk about face book and all of these other social networks with girls taking screen shot of them self in bikinis or revealing clothes. Reason why I hate face book I tired of seeing that.

I wholly agree that this totally inappropriate. Something tells me that their parents have no idea how far this video has gone on the Internet. Something also tells me that the dance teacher has some serious issues that need to be sorted out.

Their skills are amazing, but what sane parent on earth would let girls that young dance in such a way? And why are things like this becoming acceptable in society
? This video raises many questions that we should all take the time to think about, and in my opinion, they should have danced to something more appropriate for their age.

I'm totally against anything involving teen or adolecent childing being models or dancing inappropiatly. The Toddlers and Tiara show makes me want to vomit. Especially the one with the 9 year old holding a cig.

Wow, they're great dancers!  I wouldn't really want my kid though to dance like that.  I don't dance like that.  A 10 year old probably shouldn't either...  Not quite appropriate for their age...  I kinda  want to know what the judges thought of their performance...  Nowadays, who knows, maybe that's a normal dance...  I hope not though

Honestly, I can't even bring myself to open your link and watch it. I've seen it in countless talent shows, pageants, etc, and it's just...sickening.  People seem to be pushing sexuality onto younger and younger ages and then calling it 'cute'.  Why does a 6 year old need to be sexy?!  To me, pushing children to dance in sexually explicit manners should be akin to pedophilia.

I can't even go to the high school talent show.  The way the night grades dress makes me think of strippers, and it makes my stomach turn.  Even the boys will thrust their hips and gesture to their crotches, and it shocks the pants off me that parents and teachers allow it and seem to think nothing of it.  Furthermore, the kids themselves go nuts when they see their classmates dancing lewdly, as though it's cool.

And I'm sorry, but it's not cool.  At all.

They are really good at dancing, but do they really have to wear that type of clothes. It just that they are way to young to wear clothes like that, and why their parents let the wear that?

Mobouis1 :  There are a lot of things people may be good at or have skills for, but that doesn't make it alright.  My students might have amazing gracefulness and control of their body movements.  They might be strong and well coordinated.  But does that make it okay for them to shake their most intimate parts at the crowd to try and inspire lust?  I don't think so!

Just because someone is skilled at robbing banks doesn't mean we should applaud when they do.
