As a runner yourself, what would you suggest wearing to support my lower calf muscle that burns and feels like I did something to it, and almost pulled it? Because when I run, it starts to burn and hurt after about 1/3 of a mile into it. I bought a ankle brace, because somebody said it would help, but I am asking you, seeing as how you are probably experienced in this.

I honestly can't help you. I don't get injured often and when I do, I just run through the pain. Keep in mind I almost killed myself running a race. I don't have much to offer in rehab.
