My old school was quite diverse, which I liked. But at my new school, it is very lacking in diversity. It's a school in ferndale and the mass majority of students attending are from Detroit. Non-exaggeratedly, about 99% of the school population is made up of African-Americans (including myself) with so few other types of people, that I can quite literally count them all on about 1 or two hands worth of fingers max. About three Caucasians, 1 Hispanic, and the rest are African-American. This was quite a shock to me, coming from a series of well diversified schools. I do not mean what I am about to say next in a racist way at all, but most of the students in my school are extremely loud, disruptive, and disrespectful toward their teachers and each other. I dislike most of my peers, and because of their rudeness, I tend to refrain from talking to them and I will in many cases, straight up ignore them as if I cannot see them. I just hate it when they yell during class while the teacher is talking, then they act like I'm the rude one when I refuse to talk while the teacher is talking.

My school is very multicultural but there is a vast majority of people from India. There are people from Asia, Africa, and a few Aboriginal people, as well as Caucasian, of course. I feel really racist right now, even though I shouldn't.

It's sad to say but my school is made up of mostly Caucasian kids. There is currently only one African-American student that I can speak of. However, funny enough, we actually did have a student who came from Japan for about a year, but he left.

I Minnesota, where I'm from, there are a lot of people from foreign countries. Mong, somalies, you name it. So naturally when I was in high school we had plenty of people who were of different nationalities. Some were cool, some were dumbasses, just like everyone else at a different school. So I saw a lot of "the world" without having to travel anywhere.

At my school there's several Chinese, Latino, and African-American students, so it's somewhat divers. That being said though, the majority of the students are white.

My classmates have different nationalities they were Asians, Chinese, African-American, Jewish, Mexicans and Germans. I feel strange about their nationalities and I am curious about their languages.

Absolutely. He highest would definitely be white or black, hands down. It is a supposes "white school" and everything, but I guess the black kids have ruined that reputation :p. All jokes aside, the next would be Mexican with both Asians and any other races put in dead last place. I wonder if things'll look different in high school.

The majorities are white and black, then hispanic, then asian, and then everybody else (including the mixed kids like me). It's pretty diverse tho- the majorities make up only about 60% so there are a lot different people at my school. But the diverse-ness of the faculty is a different story lol

Back when I was in school we had a pretty good exchange program set up with two sister cities, one in Japan and one in Germany, as well as some Norwegian students who attended. It was really nice, because they taught us as much about their home countries as they learned about ours.

Most of the students in my class (including me) come from the Caribbean or Africa since it is a SDA school though me and most of those people were born here in England. The other 'big' ones are Romanians, Portuguese/South America and Polish. But there's a few Chinese, one from Israel, a half North American half Polish, two from a country I can't remember, an Italian with Bangladesh. So many and the weirdest thing is I haven't met a proper English person just Wales.
