My laptop came up with the Windows Seven Home Premium Operative System. It's way better than Vista, of course. I once saw in a webpage that out of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Seven, Windows Vista used the most resources while Windows XP used the least. Did you guys hear that Windows Eight is coming out? They have a beta phase already, I think. It looks different than what you're used to. If you guys want, you can look it up on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. It's a quick way to find the things you're looking for, and the best of all, it's free!

Well, I use Windows XP/Vista/7.
I don't use my XP as much any more, I use my Vista the most out of the three, and the 7 is the one I am using right now. I am using this because it is a laptop and I usually take it when I have long vacations.

I currently use Windows 7 on my laptop, which is broken, and Windows 7 on my roommates PC, which I am borrowing.

I have a ton of desktops, all have varios versions of windows on them. The one I use for most things has Windows XP on it. My beige box has Windows 98 and 2000. I also use (get ready) windows 3.1 from time to time.

Clayton 2 : You have my interest... What do you use it for?

Lazlo Falconi : I like use old operating systems for two reasons:

1. One way or another I dig up some old software. I find a lot of cool stuff that hasn't been touched for years in my library system. I've found lots of DOS games, and utilities for Windows 3.1, so I need a compatible system.

2. I'm very curious how they function. You can find how I got it in this Post.

Either way. It's mostly a hobby I enjoy!

Clayton 2 : That's cool, I used to play around in Windows 3.1 (In DOSbox) for a while, and in fact back in 2007-ish I had replaced Windows Explorer on my Windows XP box with the Windows NT 3.5 Program Manager and File Manager. Here's a pic of my computer at the time (Not interesting but I'm still posting it). It's actually a pretty decent application launcher, I just wished I could get windows to minimize to icons like they used to. Xfce has a function similar to this, but it's not very useful since Xfce also has shade mode and multiple desktops...

Clayton 2 : is there a reason you dont just use a partitioned hard drive or virtual system?

thenumberone : I mainly have two Desktops. One has Windows xp on it. The other is a lot older and each OS has it's own partition, I select the one I want when the computer boots.

I have Window 7 Prof. and it seem to be working just fine, games plays well on it so I don't have to worry very much though.

I'm actually using two different versions of Windows at the moment.

First being Windows 7 Ultimate, which is on the desktop, what I mainly use to post, Nya~.

The second is Windows XP, which is on my laptop. I only use the laptop now for when I'm listening to music, in need of posting something in chat that is linked to the laptop, or for when the desktop is in use or just turned off, Nya~.

Out of the two, it should be clear which one I prefer

I'm using Windows 7 right now as it came with my Acer laptop I purchased a few months ago. Prior to that, I had windows Vista, and am now glad to be rid of it!!

My laptop has Windows 7, as does my home computer.

Refinding all the settings used to keep on it took a while though.

Well, basically 4 years ago, when I got my 2008 HP, it was using Windows XP instead of Vista, well normally, it was supposed to use Vista instead of XP. Before I got my HP, I was using an 2000 Dell, at first, it was using Windows ME, but around 2005 or 2006, it was using XP. 1 year later around 2007, the Dell was dead, the only part that survived was the Monitor. So, I used a Mac, that was like around when I got it around 2006. Normally, it was depressing but I have to use it but it was the first computer I used to explore YouTube, the first website that I used to sign up as a member. Around November 2008, I used to make movies from Windows Movie Maker while I was watching videos made by YoshiFan3000, a member of YouTube that made these videos about Yoshi. When I start to upload videos on YouTube, I was first using my mom's YouTube account because I have no YouTube accounts to deal with anyways.

Then around May 11, 2009, I got my first account named Michaelyar, it was used for 7 months, then I closed it and then I technically used MichaelyarREMAKE which was used for 2 years then I used Michaely385.

I am using Windows Vista now (badly). Im changing soon to 7
