Can you please include what controller you are using. Also have you been using the XPadder? I kind of need to know this.

billythekidmonster : Xpadder from vizzed wont work for me, I think its cause I'm using windows 7. I was hoping to do it the regular way by hitting ESC then config and then input, but when I'm in input nothing works and it looks like a arrow is in top left corner, but it wont move when I mouse over.

Well then I really do not know what to do. I have never had the issue as I do not use a controller. I hope that it works out for you though.

This is probably a bug in the windowed mode of the SNES emulator, so if you go to fullscreen, that might allow movement of the mouse. Either by pressing Alt + Enter, or by using the arrow keys in the menu to select CONFIG, then the Enter key, then VIDEO. Choose a resolution on that list that will fit your monitor that doesn't have a "W" (windowed).

-- I have the same exact problem as mentioned above and I tried this and thought it worked because I could finally move my mouse to try to configure the controller (I have a SteelSeries 69000 1g game controller) and instead of being able to configure my controller it froze my screen and I had to open windows task manager in order to close firefox, so still no luck...I don't know if anyone has recently found a solution to this problem I would appreciate an answer because right now all I can play are NES games

I was going to say the same thing lizzzz said. For the SNES emulator, you can't set the keys in the 'Esc' menu because the cursor doesn't move. you have to set it to full screen by pressing 'alt' + 'Enter' to do this, and then you can set the controller setting.

Did this help? Summon me here to let me know ASAP.

lizzzz : Try pressing Alt and Tab which will bring you back to the game page, then Alt and Tab again to go back to the game and see if that will unfreeze it.

I was finally able to finagle the configuration to get SNES games to work with my PC controller!! I have to make it full screen to configure the controller -- initially it froze but I uninstalled the RGR plugin and then reinstalled it and was able to configure my controller (via firefox.) My only problem now is that when I want to play a GBA game after I play an SNES game my game screen is too big for the emulator. I tried opening up a new firefox, restarting my computer..but to no avail. My only option now is to use firefox for SNES/NES/SEGA (pretty much anything I will use my pc controller for) but I have to use chrome to play my GBA games. I saw some thread concerning "the big screen" but it didn't seem like anybody knew what to do and it was closed...I know that I don't really have a controller problem anymore, but I was wondering if there was some way to fix the GBA game screens in the emulator so that I can just use firefox for all my vizzed games? It's not super necessary since I am still able to play all the games I want to play, but I thought it was worth asking since I noticed that I'm not the only one who suffers from their GBA game screens not fitting into the emulator screen. I even tried to make the GBA games full screen like with my SNES games when I configure the controller, but my computer won't allow that. I can do any other command, it's just that I can't make it full screen to try to remedy the problem. I hope that my fix for the controller will help other people and that someone has an answer about this screen business!

lizzzz : It's possible that you're exiting the Snes emulator from the menu rather than exiting fullscreen first? Does setting your screen resolution to a higher or lower setting restore the GBA screen to default?

I always make sure to hit alt+enter to exit fullscreen mode before closing my firefox windows and eventually shutting down my computer. I have tried changing my screen resolution (when I read the other thread this is what was suggested in "the big screen" thread) but it still did not work. The only thing that works is using chrome, which is strange. Maybe it's just a weird thing with my computer?? I don't know...it's like only 85% of the GBA game screen is inside the emulator when I try to use it. In fact, I tried the resolution change through windows explorer and a reboot but nothing wanted to work...I couldn't even make the game fullscreen to be able to play. It's not a huge problem, it's just annoying when I'm playing a SNES game and then I decide I want to play something new like a GBA game and I need to open a new window with chrome and re-login to vizz blahblahblah....you get the picture. It's ok if no one knows what to do, it's not that big of a deal, I just thought it might help someone else to.
