Oh yes I have beaten this game on many occasions. Nowadays, I think of it as one of the easier games I've ever played

That game....that game makes me rage so hard. I can get past the mummies, after that I'm screwed. I hate those stupid hunchbacks

I beaten the original Castlevania once. It took me many tries to actually beat the game, but I did it.

Nope I never beaten the original Castlevania, because the game was to difficult to me. Also I am so not use to the controls.

No.  I never played the original.  I played from the SNES version on up.  I do like the Castlevania series.

I haven't beat it yet. But, I'm only 10. I'm stuck on the third level. *sad face*

I played it on the NES, and I beat it in 4 lives, a new record for the NES version for me, but my record on the PSP is 2 lives. Proud of that.

Castlevania one? With the game genie.
Part Two? By myself.
Part Three? Haven't Gotten Past the Grimm Reaper yet.
Part Four and beyond? Never Played. I caught the demo for the new one that has a boss ripped off from Shadow of the Colossus For X-Box 360. But after the Grim Reaper in part 3. I never bothered the series again. Besides the Belmont characters are almost always without any pants. I don't remember why, but allot of video game characters where doing everything but wearing pants when they were released in the U.S. For a good amount of time. Even the Coveted Link was showing some skin. I got so tired of it that I sought out and only endorsed games depicting characters that had the two cents to wear clothes that would keep them from getting sick. I was just a kid at the time but I thought that some trends would change if I tried hard enough. Now with internet and polls and such, anything can happen and that's just the way it is. Things are kinda funny sometimes but normally its intended that way.

To be honest no I honestly really not into that series in anyway I only played one in the series but forgot which one it was because it has been a while since I played it.All I remember about it was that I didn't like it at all.

I have, and it's every bit as hard as people make it out to be. Awesome game.

I actually still have to try... Well, Castlevania 1 here I come! I hope it's not THAT difficult 

pkmnMT : Comparatively to the others, it is kinda difficult, but not impossible. I've beaten it I think only once.

I beat Castlevania 1 and castlevania 3 but I never beat caslevania 2 I got stuck at

I've never beaten it. As much as I like it, the difficulty just gets to me every time.

yeah, I have beaten the original Castlevania. with a LOT of save states nah, I beaten it the way it should have been beaten. Its a pretty cool achievement in my book.

Unfortunately, I have not beaten the original Castlevania. I have gotten as far as Death. I have never beaten him, nor do I think I ever will! A great game, but legendary difficulty!
