I do not know what to expect from this video gaming community, but I have to ask. Does anyone here read books for entertainment? Please answer the poll up above. If you do read books, what genre(s) do you prefer and what are some of your favorites?

I am not sure what genre I like best. Maybe some of my favorites can give you an idea. My favorites include The Chonicles of Naria, and The Lord of the Rings. But I plan to read the Left Behind series, and I have also enjoyed some inspirational book like Max Lucado's Fearless --which is not a story.

I would say that I read on occasion since I am addicted to electronics, but I do enjoy books.

I used to read books for fun, but now I'm much more into visual novels, which pretty much have the same amount of texts as books but have pictures and music! But just because they're that kind of media doesn't mean they're any easier or less serious than written literature.
