I find I play games for the story....

if a game doesn't have a story I can get behind I have trouble playing it. That's why I love RPG's. The story is usually the most developed part of the game. If it's not then it doesn't matter how good the graphics are or how good the combat system is.... it won't hold my attention.

Yeah, I also play games for the story.

I mean honestly, 9 times out of 10, when I play a game for the first time, I'll play it on easy mode so I can truck through and see the story without delaying the feel.

I hate when I get stuck and it delays the story =|

Story is #1 for me as well. It needs to have a good story for it to be interesting; that being said, if the gameplay is spectacular, it can make up for a little slack in the story for me at least.

I like stories, but I would actually rather read a book than play if for that.

I am fine with arcade games etc. It does get a little more interesting for there to be some sort of plot.

It depends on the game (I just lost again) as to whether story matters. I enjoy a good story-based game on a home console, but I like how simple some of the games are on my iPod Touch.

Not to gripe or anything, but this is an unusual time for me to be on Vizzed. The reason being is that my brother has to get up and leave for work early, and I don't want to risk falling asleep and be late for my morning class.

I think I've made a post in all hours as well. I usually select normal difficulty. I agree with Silver.

For me, it's not about the story...it's about the addictive-ness of the game. I've played Tetris for hours at a time....and arcade fighting games like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, etc with no story line.

Best story themed game created is Zelda Ocarina of Time for sure!

So... this forum seems dead. What has everyone been up to lately? Yesterday I got a browser addon for Firefox so I could keep myself away from several websites that were having a negative influence on me, and by that I mean spiritually. I am just starting to realize how much I have been lax in certain aspects of my faith. I have grown too comfortable with using profane language, along with other things I am not proud of. Now if only I could focus on my work more --Aspberger's and ADHD. :/

So... What game do you guys like the most out of the new Fall releases that came out this year? So many good games, so little time... I haven't even gotten to Arkham City yet!

Right now, I'm somewhere between Skyrim and Skyward Sword, but I'm actually leaning towards saying Skyward Sword is better. I think I read in an official review that Skyward Sword just might be better than OoT, and it's close enough to that goal to give credence to that claim in my opinion. It's pretty much even with OoT in my eyes so far; it really is that good. Oh, and Skyrim's just awesome, because it's Skyrim. (I'm sure Leggy will see this and give more detail at some point...)
